Whats the deal here? Apparently Nuno was his first client and they are very good friends.
I had a look at the players the guy has under his control and its pretty crazy.

I think one of the strikers we go was from Mendez as well.
Maybe thats the missing link as to why Nuno still has a job and the club seem willing to spend on his players.
Are we looking at another Wolves thing here where he uses an English club to put Mendez controlled players in? Even in the Championship that may not be a bad situation to be in.
There are a few weeks left of the window and the only thing I can think would save us is if Mendez gave us 2 or 3 amazing players somehow. I dont see us turning anything around with the current squad as it is. If anything, knowing we are shit and in the middle of a transfer window with our manager being best mates with the worlds biggest football agent might not be the worst look.
clutching at straws ...

Re: Nuno and Super Agent Mendez
In their eyes they saw us as a lost cause (partly by design?) and then flogged us some of their shitter stock at extortionate prices that doesn't justify their current ability. None of it is passing the smell test.

Re: Nuno and Super Agent Mendez
Mendez ain't gifting us the best players on his database nor the up and coming whizzkids of the future. They sell themselves because they are already on the shortlist of at least a dozen clubs who do their research properly.
We're getting the flakey ones on page 12 of the spreadsheet that are on the books but remain an unknown quantity. The ones that end up at clubs who like to take a punt in the dark.
