I've barely got the energy to write this but it's the Cup...we'll inevitably not try very hard, but it's a somewhat welcome distraction.

They have a striker we were interested in...Richard Kone...who no doubt will upstage the 50m we have just spent.

Predicted Lineup:
T-Rex

KWP  Kilman   Mayers   Igor

Rodriguez  Magassa

Bowen   Taty    Sumerville

Pablo
Subs:  Areola, Scarles, Mavropanos, Potts, Irving, Paqueta, Soucek, Ajala, Landers.

Predicted Score: 1-1 (lose on pens)

No wonder strikers don't score these days this crab like sideways and backwards football is absolute garbage, the sooner a manager is brave and goes 442 the better for football.
But good god we are awful to watch arent we Nuno doesnt help himself with the way he has set set up, theres no mavericks in this team

Team look petrified.
cant play a ball through the middle through fear.
very easy to defend against us.
We only work the ball down the wings. Its all we can do.

God, this is turgid. The only thing it's good for us the passing stats of our CBs.

300 passes between our cb's.
We don't dare to play into our midfield, so we are stuck playing it sideways.
Unimaginative cunts.

It's always so sloppy, free kicks taken quickly played behind the intended player. Throw-ins aimed at the players throat so little chance of controlling or laying the ball off

stubbo-admin wrote: 11 Jan 2026, 14:17 I guess the main issue is we have injury to Fernandes and Paqueta, and that means every attacking first team player is in the squad with 3 out of 4 in the starting line up. Earthy is gone. Guilherme is gone.

We don't have any other wingers or forwards to call on.

I cant imagine there's a single supporter that would rather see Irving and Rodriguez on that bench ahead of an Ajala or a Fearon, or even a Medine

Clearly following Sullivan's "throw the game" instructions on account that his very tight cash flow at the club won't allow him to cover the costs of another game, home or away.

I'll judge later, not too fussed with the line up, aren't wing backs meant to be attacking and we hardly have many attacking midfield players to choose from.

Fancy us 3-1.

Bowen to get a couple, Potts with the other (QPR are about his level).

The only meltdown here is inside Nuno's head having failed to win a single game in 10 attempts.

What a cսnt.

It's a 3-4-3 with inverted wingers. Fairly common these days.

Nuno still pisses me off though 😩
