The first few seasons of BOSCH are very good.

Tails off a bit later. The daughter is one of the most unconvincing actors ever.

Same with me mate, gave up first time round, then sat back down last summer and watched it. Really enjoyed it.

Manuel, you should stick with Industry as it gets better and there is a fair amount of Trading Floor activity over the first 2 seasons, less so from season 3 onwards but there's only so much of a story you could tell and keep Joe Public interested in if it was only based in the office. I've worked on Trading Floors for best part of 3 decades and a show only based on that would get pretty boring and certainly wouldn't stretch to 4 seasons. Its definitely one of the best things on TV for my money.
Fair play, Jim, and take your point. Will give it some more time.

Yea SH is great, albeit I thought it went steadily downhill. There are more series' to come.
I thought last season was really good of SH. The season before with the French stuff was a bit naff.

Jim79 wrote: 19 Jan 2026, 15:45 Industry season 4 is already top draw and probably the best thing on Television. Brilliant how they have evolved the characters from season 1 being wet behind the ears post-grads to where they are now. Kit Harrington was brilliant in last nights episode, gutted I've got to wait a week to watch the next instalment.
Gave up after 2 episodes. I'd never heard of it before (but now I know why) until it was mentioned on here. Fuck me what a load of pretentious, bent bollocks. I thought it would be mainly about the trading floor and not a soap opera revolving around the casts personal lives. Utter shite.

The most important scene so far is when Coleman and Hiddleston go to recognise the body and only Coleman is allowed in. I recon Roper did a deal with MI5. You'll see my genius of deduction later.
Well FMOB!
Well I was kinda right. I swear I hadn't seen episode 3 when I posted this. Episode 4 was excellent.
Any doubts that this series might have been crap vanished in that one moment. ''Absooooolutely, Jose old boy''

Not seen 4 yet.

I would also agree with that so far but only 2 episodes in. I think Roper makes an appearance soon .

From Google:

The 1988-1991 TV series Midnight Caller, starring Gary Cole, is generally not available as an official DVD release due to significant copyright issues, particularly concerning music and its jazz score, which prevent legitimate re-releases or streaming.

Thanks Mmg,,,  Yeah it's a bugger to find.  Did find full episodes on You Tube and settled down but it was dubbed in a foreign language!  Another one I was looking for was Midnight Caller but that's now appeared on Ebay.  Must be something to do with ownership or something unless someone somewhere didn't want them repeated.

Was Petrocelli the series where he was building his own house, seemingly by one brick per episode?

Zico.

I vauguely remember Petrocelli, mainly because my ex mother in law demanded total silence in the room when it was on.

If you like a good detective series  give Bosch and Goliath a go,both on Prime.

Kin was excellent, some great characters. Sadly it doesn't look like they'll be any more episodes.
Looks a stretch doesn't it, a real shame as thought it was really good, raw, with a constant menace in the air. Liked the score too. Bren was an utter lunatic. ''so you've finally grown a pair of balls'' :-)
