Kurt Zouma

Post brick_lane_batty_boy »

I mean I've always thought it - but I think he was injured when we bought him. His knees just look shot to bits. He can't turn or run - and even more recently seems incapable of kicking the ball with any power. Which when your managers sole game plan is to lump it long from the back causes quite a few problems. I actually like him - and think he would be good if his body worked. Put he looks like he needs to be put down. Really reminds me of how Carlton Cole used to amble around at the end of his career

"Rossal, the only non priority area in the summer is right wing assuming we keep Kudus. The only issue there two of our best players play there so one has to be played out of position. In the summer, we realistically need: At least one centre forward, at least one left winger, a replacement for Paqueta when he either goes or is banned, a centre midfielder who can play and has an engine, at least one right back, a back up left back, two centre halfs. It’s good, isn’t it?"

"Don't know exactly what his injury problem is (beyond his knees), but he looks shot to shit. Genuinely. His form since Christmas has been atrocious and, physically, he looks incapable of playing at the highest level. Now, he might be nursing further short-term injuries etc - so perhaps he can get some form back. But right now the guy looks like less than a Championship player. When combined with Aguerd's regular poor decision-making and Mav's ricket-strewn start to his career, we look god-awful at the back - hence we're shipping what feels like a thousand goals a game at the moment. The idea that Moyes has made us more ""robust"" has been well and truly shot to shit in recent weeks. Yesterday was atrocious beyond words. But the worst thing is that Fulham and Liverpool did something similar to us. And others will, too, unless we do something to stop the rot - sharpish. The wheels have well and truly fallen off. No win and just two goals since Christmas (one from open play). Leaking goals like a sieve. Forget a new three-year contract - Moyes should be told he has three games to save his job."

"We have £100mil worth of centre backs, and we can't defend. It's fucking hilarious. The value we could've got when signing this clearly broken play a couple of years ago for £30miland £120k a week. Fucking hell. Let's not forget £35mil on the hapless Aguerd. You could buy Luton's whole squad for what we paid for those 2, yet look how they are fighting most weeks. Thanks, MOYESIAH son."

"Whether it’s and injury or not, he isn’t anywhere near up to the speed of professional football. Like you say can’t kick a ball either. Still club captain and all that though.. another Moyes special"

Centre back is quickly turning into one of the major issues we have to address in the summer
