Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
"I'm seriously considering ditching my season ticket of 30 odd years as I am so despondent right now. The January transfer window was a disgrace and the form this year is of a relegation fodder team. The club is being run into the ground, with shambolic transfer dealings, a terribly thin, ageing squad, a fraud of a manager and a horrible, grubby little majority shareholder whose sole ambition is to avoid relegation and maximise his money. And then we have the pathetic ""match day experience"". An experience that comprises walking through a barren landscape to queue up for 15 minutes to be searched by cretins with their wands, and then be surrounded by day trippers chomping on popcorn in a sterile shit atmosphere, to finally having to queue up after with 'Stop-Go' wankers barricading you in at regular intervals. I can't be the only one considering jacking it all in as I'm seriously beginning to lose the will and don't want to waste my time and money on the club any more."
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
"I may not renew, but not because of Moyes but I've been going now for 52 years, I'm nearly 74 and I find it a struggle to get over there and home again. Perhaps if we sign some marquee players I may be tempted for one more season."
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
Its tradition for my Son & Me to have season tickets & it is our thing together so we will renew but will put ours in ticket exchange until Moyes is gone.. We cannot take it anymore.
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
"CanningTownWA Same as you. Not worried about getting a ticket again, but I really like my current seats and all the people that sit in our area. With the lack of a dedicated family stand in a 60k plus stadium ?üôÑ I know I can take my young boys and not be bombarded with, fuck, shit, cսnt every other word. Not that I‚Äôm against that at football but as I mention, no family stand so I will renew regardless, I‚Äôll pick and choose a few games that suit me to go to and sell the rest back to the club, or give to other to use. If it was based on football, if Moyes remains it would be a firm no. But it‚Äôs a seat decision. I didn‚Äôt bother yesterday and doubt I will much more this season or until Moyes has gone."
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
"It’s the closest I’ve been to saying no having had a ST for more than 25 years. I’m taking the rest of the season off unless I can be bothered to do the Spurs game given I’ll be in London anyway. On the one hand, having recently had our first child, my weekend priorities have changed. I’d rather get out on the golf course in any spare time than waste my time on that rubbish. On the other hand, we have great seats (in so far as you can in that stadium) and I’m reluctant to give it up. I’ll probably renew, pick and choose my games and look to ticket exchange the rest but I’d say I’m 60/40 at the moment. I just don’t enjoy going over there anymore."
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
As I posted after yesterday's match. Sullivan is laughing his cock off.! He knows he has the fanbase over a barrel. Why the fuck.Should he change.? When he knows people will turn up. Regardless of what he puts in front of them.

Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
I wouldn't buy the club's propaganda that it would take forever to get another season ticket on the back of a long waiting list. I managed to get a seat transfer for me and an additional (new) season ticket for my son two summers ago with literally NO wait.

"Isn't this just a continuation of Brady's plan to rid the club of the remaining ,embarrassing, Old Skool fans and replace them with (high-spending) happy-clappy popcorn-munchers? Leave and you're fucked, stay and you're fucked."

Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
"I will probably renew just to keep my seat even if they give Moyse a new contract, but will put it on resale until he's gone. That was after talking to a mate who is going to do that and the fact it would take forever to get another season ticket. Fans are forever, managers come and go."
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
Of course. Supported West Ham all my life. Played on the memorial grounds as kid our first home ground. Seen worse times than we have at the moment.
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
"I'm always saying I won't renew and then I do. If Moyes is still manager next season, though, it will be a very tough decision. I can't take any more of what he serves up as football, and as others have said the matchday experience isn't anything lie it was. Plus I've had enough of Premier League football, VAR, etc, in general. BUT, if I give up my ticket, I probably won't go at all any more. You can't just turn up on the day like you used to. And that's a difficult thing to contemplate after more than 60 years of going. And I keep thinking, suppose I don't renew, and then 6 weeks into the new season Moyes gets sacked and we get a progressive manager in..."

"Phall Throw 3:13 Mon Feb 12 Spot on - GSB killed the club. I'm still heart broken and will never forgive them. I may get another ST once SB gone - until then its TV and the odd game when I use friend's ST, I'm not putting any more of my money in their offshore bank accounts."
Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
"Definitely, for a few reasons. I enjoy the away games now a lot more for the atmosphere and I would lose my points if I didn't renew. I enjoy the home games as it gives me a chance to see my family who I sit with. All I would be doing is watching it on TV instead of going. Plenty of bad times in the years I've been going but the good seasons make it all worth it!"

"Most will say they aren't renewing and shout, hiss and scream about it ..... It's all soundbites, most will renew because it's their life. Even if they don't the club don't care one iota as plenty will fill your place and buy popcorn and hot dogs The club we once knew died as soon as we moved"

Re: Season Ticket Holders: Do you intend to renew?
I had a season ticket at Upton park but would never get one in this gaff. Apart from the dire football at the moment it's the whole thing from shit overpriced food and drink to all the various daytrippers and modern day fans a lot of whom have no idea about the history and culture of the club. I sat next to some middle aged wanker recently who came in 15 minutes after kick off with his foot long hot dog spent the next 20 minutes checking his bets fucked off 10 minutes before half time for a pint returned late and left 15 from the end. He also thought the new stadium was great and Moyes was a club legend I have taken a couple of mates recently who stopped going after we left Upton park and they certainly won't be rushing back either. Souless is the word that keeps on coming up I wasn't far off from giving him a smack. I prefer night games but I'm lucky to get home by midnight with all the stop go boards and against Bournemouth we even had to queue for 15 minutes to get out of the station
