Nuno is a stone cold weirdo.  If this bizarre line up blows up in his face then he must go

True. Not convinced about him to be honest. We’ll see.

Well what we do know is he'll work his nuts off should he come on which will keep Burnley honest defensively. Coming off the bench may help him get off the mark with tired legs in their defence and not so much pressure to score when he was starting.

He claims the ball better in the air from open play than Areola, and is calmer with the ball. Let's hope with that plus two aerial defenders in Mavro and Disasi he is able to bring that to the side today.

this is true - coming into the side under potter and trying to play with a hot mess of a defence in front of you didnt help his cause initially. Have to hope he's up to it.

Additional risk taking with GK and fitness of Disassi.

Im past trying to be hopeful some time ago ( if I ever gad any in the first place ) so we’ll just have to see what happens.  An early goal for Burnley and we’ll know. I felt the same before the Wolves game. You get influenced by the table and form but with West Ham Im not sure thats ever been a guide?

This line up is screaming backs to the wall for last 30 minutes after going 2 or 3 goals up. Wilson, Bowen and Taty will tire by 60 minutes and our attacks will fizzle out. There’s no one to replace any of them. Unless Adama has enough to offer which is yet to be seen in a claret and blue shirt. Personally I would have played either Taty or Wilson so one of them is fresh for the second half.

I never know what to think with these changes?
I dont understand the GK change at all (has Areola got a knock?)
Starting a defender who hasn't played at all in ages?

2 out and out forwards looks good though.
Maybe the idea with the GK is to keep possession more, play out from the back etc. And with two strikers he wants to kill burnley early doors.
Fingers crossed!

Utterly bizarre again, bringing Hermansen in. Areola isn’t perfect but is guaranteed to make a worldy a game.

Yes, blooming worrying.
Areola has been good, despite all the goals going in.
Hermansen was toilet in the summer.

Liking the attack side of things (assume Taty behind Wilson?), Midfield as good as it can be right now, defence makes me nervous. I didn't agree with Scarles being dropped last game for the headless chicken in defence Diouf and still keeps the spot, new partnerships with Disasi chucked in at the deep end and suddenly drop Areola for Hermansen. Asking a lot for it all to gel straight away but the fact it's Burnley you'd hope it wouldn't prove costly. Get those goals and keep the pressure on until the players have to crawl off the pitch.

You could see from Thursday's presser how frustrated Nuno was, so I'm not really surprised. The fear though is that this is all too late.
