Re: Lookalikes
Bungo 6:55 Sun Feb 18 That reminds me of a mate of mine Richard Brown. He didn't look like shoe bomber Richard Reid but for a few years after he got constantly pulled for checks at airports because his name apparently is an easy one for aliases!

"Another one I just remembered was a friend's husband who was an absolute deadringer for Saddam Hussain. He gave up trying to fly to America when SH was alive for obvious reasons, but they also lived fairly close to Heathrow, so he was forever being pulled over by the Police who wanted to check if he had any ground to air missiles in his boot. I think it has eased off now, but not entirely!"

Re: Lookalikes
My Danish girlfriend's Dad was a dead ringer for Neil Kinnock which was quite amusing as Neil Kinnock's son married the Danish prime minister ( the first female Danish prime minister)

"My father-in-law looked like Denholm Elliott's long lost twin brother. To the point that they walked past each other in central London once, both stopped dead and stared at each other. I understand that they then just smiled at each other and carried on walking. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/celebrity/denholm_elliott"
