Mike Procter RIP
Farewell to a true great. Aside from Sobers probably the greatest all-rounder I ever saw. Farewell Mike.

Re: Mike Procter RIP
"Lucky enough to see him when some of the great S Africans ... Mike Proctor, Barry Richards, Garth LeRoux played for the ROWXI in World Series Cricket in the late 70's Fabulous all rounder & a genuine superstar RIP"
Re: Mike Procter RIP
"There was a televised game where Proctor took 4 wks in 5 balls including those of Gordon Greenidge and Barry Richards. Fortunately the footage still exists. It should have been 5 in 6 balls as the last ball of the over was absolutely plum lbw but the Umpire didn't give it. Anyway, here's the video. https://youtu.be/6GVYtBU-N-80"

"martinbritt_63 11:21 Sat Feb 17 If his Test career hadn't been cut short a lot more people would think the same. His first class stats are ridiculous: 21,936 runs at 36 1,417 wickets at 19.5 I remember him from the Sunday league TV coverage smashing the ball all over the place and bowling inswingers from round the wicket way too quickly for the cameras, let alone the batsmen, to pick up in real time."
Re: Mike Procter RIP
