West Ham the worst fans in football

Post Nutsin »

Doesn’t matter who the manager is you know that it’s only a matter of time before West Ham fans start chasing them out of the club. Happens all the time. So Moyes is the current target how long does the new one have before he gets the wanky treatment? 2-3 seasons as per?

"""Not sure it's anything unique to West Ham TBH, it's just ""modern-day football, short memories and unrealistic expectations."" this style of football is completely unique to West Ham fans, no one else tries or wants to play without the ball in the modern day so it's completely fucking unique. my memory is very good, it's been two years of the worst football known to man. what unrealistic expectations are you talking about? most just wanted a manager that's been given just short of half a billion pounds to spend, for his team to be able to pass the ball to a team mate. to resemble a coherent group of players with a distinctive style of play, rather than eleven random blokes that have just met. we have no pattern of play other than sit back and hope for a bit of magic from one of our three star players. we even had one of our strikers describe on his podcast over a year ago how he approaches games (the approach still being used to this day), yet thick cunts like you are still defending it"

"Yeah, you're right Nutsin. We do Especially those fucking absentee fans who spout their uninformed and uneducated bollocks from the other side of the world after squeezing in the odd game on breakfast TV before heading to the mall (but without spending a cent). Stick to NFL, you're clearly better suited to the big foam hand, soda and a hot dog, family day out kind of thing...."

"We were in the semi and we whimpered out of that as the players were knackered and we dropped from a very good league position too - the reason for that was Moyes flogging the same 13 or so players and his refusal to buy in that January. He actually said he couldn't find anyone in world football better than what he had up front, which at the time was MICK who hadn't scored for 10 plus games. Next season we struggled massively in the league but progressed in the lesser Euro tournament which masked the ills of the league, This season we have started well results wise but looked poor performance wise, we've won a few 1 in 100 games (by Moyes's own record against the bigger clubs). Elsewhere we've looked poor against many teams supposedly below us including a championship side. He's STILL 2 years on wanted to play a busted flush in Antonio as his main man and got forced to try Bowen who he flogged. A few times it worked but defences have sussed that now. It's a slow painful death with Moyes with occasional flurries of results to make you think all is ok. We're finishing tenth and more this season, fans are entitled to be annoyed at the decline in the league form."

It’s ok for a supporter of a Sky Six team to demand they do better. Anyone else should know their place. And be grateful for it.! Problem is now. We are the 2nd biggest home gate in the country. You just can’t bat that criticism away. Also doesn’t help we have never had any owners who had the slightest bit of ambition too turn us into a constant title challenger. And until that happens the fanbase will never be contented.

"Johnson We were in the semi final of the Europa league the year before don‚Äôt forget. We had our games where we played well it wasn‚Äôt all so dire. Yes, we‚Äôre going through a rough patch but we did have our 3 best players out. One of which is still sidelined. As for the lack of new recruits in Jan who knows what really happened, Might be Moyes fault yet it might not. We can still turn this season around, we were never gonna get top 4 but a European cup run was and still is on the cards. So get behind the team you cսnt and stop acting so entitled. And yes, we do always turn on the managers. Allardyce is the only one I agree with. Even Slav got the wanky treatment as did Curbishley, Pardew, Redknapp etc:"

Most ST holders in the PL. I'm at a loss to find a bigger club with a media opinion that they should have less ambitions.

"Yes in my 20,s Not sure this is about not understanding our fans (been on WHO nearly 25 years as well seeing this hate and venom get worse), its all part and parcel of modern-day football, although granted the moaning has always been there but seems to have gone to new levels in the PL era, all in my humble of course! Used to go regularly before coming this side of the planet, back then Fulham were nowhere near the old Div 1 as it was then and if we were away me and up norf or not doable, me and mates would go to Craven cottage, half time you could just walk in, sometimes earlier and see a game or most of it."

"Don't be a cսnt Nutsin. Fans don't turn on managers for no reason, especially at ours. It does not happen all the time, We even tolerated Allardyce for a longer time than we should have. People are rightly pissed off right now. No wins this year. We had a good December all in all but copped two 5 goal hidings, one of which a result of the manager admitting he threw the game as he only cares about the league and Europa. We then failed to beat then lost to a Championship side in the FA Cup - I remembered his words after the Liverpool game as did many others. Europa and league. Fuck the cup, but the fans don't fuck the cup. No wins this year and the players look disinterested, we're going backwards whilst he's telling us our Titanic hasn't hit an iceberg. Don't forget we were dogshit in the league last season too, a Europa Conference win shouldn't mask that and whilst you can argue Moyesball has caused us to beat Mancs, Arse, Ys for those who watched the games we would all say we could have lost heavily on a different day. Had we done, this wouldn't even be a debate."

"Sydney - It's become pretty clear in recent times that you don't really understand West Ham fans. I believe you moved to upside down land in your 20's, correct? Did you use to go much before you left, I know you said you use to go and watch Fulham?"

"Oh, but do agree, when Moyes does go its only a matter of time before we get the next manager out thread. LOL Not sure it will take 2-3 seasons, 2 or 3 months is more realistic, and you can say the same about new owners should we get them, the usual suspects won't be happy unless they are spending Billions and winning trophy's every season but even then they will find an angle to have a moan........... Its the West Ham way dont you know!!!"

"Nutsin - It's strange how you have gone from a half decent poster, albeit mainly obsessing over US politics on a UK football forum, to an absolute embarrassment to yourself and nothing more than a troll these days. What happened, son?"

"Not sure it's anything unique to West Ham TBH, it's just modern-day football, short memories and unrealistic expectations. I have wanted Moyes gone and just posted he should have gone at the end of last season, not going to go down the hate that some seem to have for him, that's just bizarre to me, the same as it is for the owners and some of the delusional shit that gets levelled at them. Look at Arsenal though, a month ago they lost a couple of games and more than just a few of their fans were wanting Arteta out, there season was over, the players didnt care blah blah blah."
