Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.

Watch this space.

I think we're fucked.

Looks like a few have thrown the towel in and just hoping Spurs continue to implode, huge gamble that. I think we will see a different performance against Wolves, but I doubt this win against someone we wouldn't expect to beat will happen. We don't appear to have what it takes to beat a good side, just not enough goal threat.

Leeds's two home games against the bottom two will be significant. Quite comforting that they are right back in the argument now.

All true. But, as we know, it only takes one little spark to get a relegation-threatened side going. We can't rely on Spurs being even more shit than us for the rest of the season - regardless of how shit they have been. We have to improve. The best way for us to stay up is to win games ourselves.

Nuno is good at engendering a sense of family amongst the players, but he's tactically inept.

We just didn't turn up did we, we've seen it so many times before but not recently. It's Nuno's job to make sure it doesn't happen again. We won't stay up relying on others to keep being shit we have to win some games and starting against Wolves.

Let’s hope Summerville is back after the internationals. We missed him a lot in both fixtures. We don’t seem to know what system to play without him and the goals don’t seem to be coming from anywhere else.

still confident though. Even if we are 2 points behind Leeds with a game to go it is in our hands.

Watched a fair bit of the game again last night, and we were really poor.

Second to the ball a lot of the time. Just seemed to lack the desire and intensity that gets you there first. There was a period when we were obviously running out of time and Villa still won most 50-50 challenges.

That’s not about tactics or formations - that’s about belief and intensity. If we fail on that for the rest of the season, we won’t stay up.

We can’t go into the Wolves game with that attitude. I can take losing to good sides. But the bare minimum is that you fight until this is over or not.

Wont help that we had a bad day at Villa, seems to be a pattern? So hopefully the next few games we pick up points after being shit.

few weeks off though before Wolves at home, Leeds in the Cup will be next, fingers crossed it’s a SF by full time 🤞

Like Everton before them, they'll ponce a couple of wins to keep them up.
Our next four games will determine our fate , if it continues on   the current trend of   a point a game since  Nuno took over it won't be enough.

Why do you not mention if Spurs continue their current tread of 0.2 points per game since Tudor took over, a
point per game from us will be plenty?

Don't wish death on other posters. It's fucking low.
So is constantly accusing other posters of being spurs fans
this bloke doesn’t debate, he tells
he’s a cancer to this site

Agree with the first two lines, but so what- just call him a cսnt and move on.
While I appreciate your sentiment for sticking up for another West Ham fan
take a look at the thread he started last night
he’s one of a number of fans on here that are middle aged or more that don’t debate, they just wanna start shit cos fuelled by the rise of social media they think their opinion is higher than everyone else’s, he’s the sort of cսnt that takes a picture of his dinner then posts it online and he thinks that makes him famous
with the greatest of respect I appreciate your stance and what you’re saying and normally I’d agree with you

todays results were as about as bad as they could have been for us. I want to believe, I think we WILL shit house a narrow result against Wolves but it won't be enough. We've flattered to deceive too many times this season, we're seemingly tied to 18th like shit to a blanket and today just told me that we don't have enough to get ourselves out.  Spurs and Forest WILL get the result or two or three they need and we'll be left sputtering with a point here and a point there with uber defensive set-ups that we can't sustain and we'll fall just short. Sorry that's just how I see it going for us after watching today, we were negative and fucking woeful.

We play them, 3rd last game of the season. They might like helping a Spurs relagation.
Plus they could be in semi of champions league and that is in same week so could rest few players as well

We still need to outperform Spurs by two points over the last seven games. Easier said than done.
The respect some of you give to Spurs is a bit of a worry. They are absolutely shit and clearly have no fight for a scrap like this. You do realise Spurs have 1 (ONE) point from their last 6 games and 3 from their last 10 games. We have 6 points from our last 6 games and 15 from our last 10 games. Nothings is certain in football, but I will be surprised if we do not outperform Spurs by 2 points over 7 games.
They'll do an Everton.
They'll stay up some way ..some how.
As for us, we're sitting below them.

If you want to be a simple optimistic or a negative nancy that is your call and I can see reasons for both. The lack of firepower is a big concern for me and I really don't feel comfortable relying on Spurs to keep us up. Fail to beat Wolves and it will be looking very grim indeed. You can't just keep saying 'next game' as we are quickly running out of games. It's been a fucking age since we were last out of the bottom 3. Yesterday was a big wake up call. Back to the drawing board indeed.

Their anger, frustration, depression etc was funny to watch but I still don’t see them going down. I just think they’ll find some form at some point.
Like with Everton a few years back when they looked like going.

Wolves at home for us will not be an easy game 😬

Just checked Spurs next League fixture. Away at Sunderland who just won the Tyne-wear Derby at St. James effectively staying up in the League by doing so and absolutely bouncing. 😂

All the best playing to win there, Spurs with their confidence beyond rock bottom right now.

We have 4 winnable games coming up.  Expect by the end of those we will be much safer.  Spurs on the other hand may well be adrift.
