Black Lab Romford dogs.

Post wils »

What’s it like over there these days? Haven’t been since the 90s. Went passed it today on the train and wondered if it’s still the same as it used to be.

I've never been to Romford so can't comment but used to love a night at the dogs particularly the stow and back in the day the old Wembley stadium

The problem is falling attendances (use it or lose it) and pressure from the animal rights groups.

It is already banned in Wales

Not sure if you noticed that the main stand is demolished and replaced by car park
There is a stand on the opposite side.

Catford, Wimbledon, Walthamstow, and now Crayford all gone ; Just leaves Romford for all of London

I remember going over there when I was 17 and a bloke desperate to sell me his watch in the car park, so he could get the train home.
