Mohammed Kudus Signed

Post Alan »

"OS West Ham United sign Mohammed Kudus West Ham United are delighted to announce the signing of Mohammed Kudus. The Hammers fought off intense competition from some of Europe‚Äôs leading clubs to secure the services of the exciting Ghana international attacker from Ajax. The 23-year-old joins the Irons on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee, becoming the Club‚Äôs third major summer signing following his former Ajax teammate and Mexico international Edson ?Ålvarez and England midfielder James Ward-Prowse. A strong all-round player and prolific dribbler capable of making and scoring goals, Kudus has established himself as one of European football‚Äôs most sought after young players. Now, he has brought his talents to London Stadium. ‚ÄúI‚Äôve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid,‚Äù said Kudus, who will wear the No14 shirt at West Ham. ‚ÄúI‚Äôve been dreaming of this moment and I‚Äôm so happy to be here. But it doesn‚Äôt stop here, I want to keep going. ‚ÄúI try my best to entertain the fans as I think that‚Äôs what football is all about. I‚Äôm just here to do my best and help the team. I‚Äôm really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can‚Äôt wait to get started.‚Äù David Moyes is looking forward to working with Kudus, who scored four goals in six UEFA Champions League group-stage appearances for Ajax last season. ‚ÄúI‚Äôm delighted we‚Äôve been able to bring Mohammed to West Ham United,‚Äù said the manager. ‚ÄúHe‚Äôs a terrific young talent, who has already shone at the very highest level for Ajax in the Champions League and made well over 150 senior appearances at the age of 23 ‚Äì so it was no surprise to see so many top clubs chasing his signature this summer. ‚ÄúThe fact we‚Äôve been able to attract a player of his undoubted quality to London Stadium shows the pull West Ham have now ‚Äì the Board and Tim deserve huge credit for getting this one over the line.‚Äù Born in the suburb of Nima in Ghana‚Äôs capital city Accra in August 2000, Kudus joined the famous Right to Dream football academy at the age of ten. He spent seven years there before joining Danish club Nordsj?¶lland at 17 in January 2018. The 5‚Äô9 player established himself as a regular at Nordsj?¶lland. Playing as a striker or in a midfield role, he scored 14 goals in his 57 appearances across three seasons. Kudus‚Äô performances for Nordsj?¶lland attracted the attention of Ajax, with then-head coach Erik ten Hag praising his ‚Äòincredible potential‚Äô following the then-19-year-old‚Äôs switch to Amsterdam in July 2020. That praise proved well-founded as the youngster scored one goal and assisted three more in his opening three appearances for the club. The 2022/23 season saw Kudus take his game to a new level, with goals against Liverpool, Napoli and Rangers in the Champions League, eleven more in the Dutch Eredivisie and one each in the UEFA Europa League, Dutch Cup and Johan Cruyff Shield, taking his total to 19 goals and seven assists in all competitions. Unsurprisingly, given those numbers, Kudus also started all three group games for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar, where he netted twice in a 3-2 victory over South Korea. All in, he has seven goals and three assists in 24 caps for his country. Everyone at West Ham United would like to welcome Mohammed to the Club and wish him every success in Claret and Blue."

"Yeah. I may have been pushing it a little. And they're only provisional squads as well, so I suppose there's a chance that Benrahma won't go given what happened before."

"I actually think Aguerd has been decent in recent games with Fabianski back in goal. He's also the only one of our centre backs with any passing range. He'll be a huge loss as the others have no pace and he covers for Emerson when he goes forward. Kudus will hopefully come back fit, confident and firing."

I hope to fuck Morocco go all the way to the final. The more time Aguerd spends away the better.

"Unless we have a multitude of injuries, we'll only really miss Kudus as Bowen will resume on the right with Ings up front which in turn totally diminishes our pace on the break, Mavropanos will come in for Aguerd which will be fine, possibly an improvement"

"I was thinking we had it bad with possibly 4 players out at the AFCON (well, 3 as one of them is a player called Cornet I've never seen). But then I saw Forest have possibly 7 (SEVEN) players out there."

"Yep, fair play to the Wolves fans, I thought they were very restrained considering he sat in front of them after both goals. For the second goal he also faced them. Most away fans would have given him dog's abuse."

Looked sensational on Sunday Do think someone should tell him that if he scores at that end he is better off sitting on the advertising hoardings to the left of the goal rather than in front of the away fans. Might get something in the back of the head or get his shirt stolen if its SCOUSERS That said would love to see him ping one in the top corner at Anfield and go and sit on the ledge in front of the Kop

One would hope none of our players would go to Man United or Chelsea right now as both Clubs are in a mess compared to what they once were.

"What a signing he is turning out to be. And a complete bargain. Hope he‚Äôs here for a while of course but we will more than double our money should he leave. This summers transfer business was spot on. Him, Alvarez, JWP. Lovely stuff Mav looking at least like a decent player but still developing. Add to Paquet?° and Emerson last year and Bowens new contract. Fucking hats off to the club. Lets not mention Ings‚Ķ And Two Bob at Man U went for Antony for over twice the price and is sorely missing a CDM. No wonder he‚Äôs going to get the bounce before the Easter bunny comes along. What a disaster. Can only hope Alvarez and Kudus help him in his way a bit quicker on Saturday."

"Kudus won’t be going anywhere this season, perhaps Chelsea at some point or possibly Man U but that won’t happen for a year or two, assuming he continues to impress. Same with Paqueta, he’ll be with us for the rest of this campaign too. Looking forward to the January window, I expect us to move some dead wood along and bring in a player or two."

"I'll be amazed if one of the mega rich clubs don't sign him next Summer or Summer 2025. We should be able to get £100 million or so for him at this rate, which would be an excellent return on investment. Are we finally moving to a profitable, Brighton style model?"
