Fornals was on for the full 90 mins Sir Alf. Alvarez came off for Ings on about 80 mins yet Soucek was by far our worst player but that's not saying a lot.

"Thing is the whole loss of momentum with the size of the loss may lead to another one against the Mancs Ok we bounced back against Wolves but he will pay United the “big six” respect / fear again so expect the low block, Soucek , Paqueta wide as usual and with 3 CBs Fornals on at 70 mins and Ings at 85. Soucek plays whole 90, gives it away several times and touches it 10-15 times but points 30 times for others to run"

"The more I think about this the more I can't believe what a scandal it was, he has literally slapped the loal away fans full on in the face, and it's unforgiveable imo. He would have known full well we had sold out our allocation on a cold night just before Christmas and he has the sheer audacity to throw the game, it's un-fucking-believable, and if anyone isn't convinced about that then ask yourself why he didn't put subs on at HT? He wasn't interested. This cսnt should be up for neglect, and to make it all worse the rotating nonsense simply doesn't stack up, for all the reasons mentioned already. I honestly think the club should come out and say something today, the refund thing isn't realistic, but they should at least show the support some kind of sympathy and explanation, not to mention a thanks for the effort under the circumstances, even if it is just hollow words."

"What a coward, an utter disgrace to the club and its fans. I gather 6000 travelled, he clearly doesn't give a damn about them. Not even a non league manager would give up and insult the fans like that, coward. Yet still the weasel of a chairman keeps him on, the manager who has spent half a billion and can't compete with a top six club, trash that he is! Well no way can he use the midweek fixture as a reason for not beating Manu on saturday, Pathetic! Get him out!!!"

He doesn’t do squad until its a cup quarter final against one of the “elite” and he decides that’s the time he does rotate because it’s so audacious to think we could dream of beating a weakened Liverpool side. To use this game as some kind of point proving exercise much like Allardyce v Forest is unforgivable.

I still think there is an element of not being able to judge some of these squad players. Outside of his favoured 11 he is saying the rest can’t play his way…..they are saying they don’t want to play his way…..they could of turned up played a blinder and they still wouldn’t get a look in until possibly the next round and even then it would have been a semi final so back in with his favourites……he doesn’t do ‘squad’

"Disgusting performance! Shit team selection, I knew it would be at least 5 with the lineup! I'd been looking forward to this game for months! the cսnt ruined it for me, for no fucking reason! dropping JWP, Paqueta and Emerson unforgivable for this game Can't wait for a new manager who will give it a go beating anybody!"

"""The new coach will hopefully work with Noble and Potts to implement a common footballing philosophy across all our Teams to ensure a path for some of the youth players and the exceptional group of U21s."" There's ZERO hope for the youngsters with Moyes here. That game last night would have been the last opportunity they would have had this season to play for the first XI. If they can't get into last nights squad, in a game which the manager chose to throw, with illness running through our squad, then they've got no chance. Instead Moyes chose to play players that aren't up to scratch and likely won't be here next season."

"If his disrespectful attitude is due to him knowing he won’t be having his contract renewed there is a silver lining. It all goes down to who makes that call. If it’s Steidten then I suspect he’s toast, but as many say, if it’s Sullivan he could well be kept on because fans unhappy with the manager means no eyes on the owner. I will be surprised if we end up anywhere other than mid table and out of all cup competitions hence end of Euro qualifications But that hopefully means Steidten gets a progressive coach in rather than old school manager ( do they exist anymore other than Moyes and Woy?) . The new coach will hopefully work with Noble and Potts to implement a common footballing philosophy across all our Teams to ensure a path for some of the youth players and the exceptional group of U21s. The new coach may even be able to improve and integrate a couple of the ostracised existing players into valuable members of the squad. But also ship out those not able to meet footballing standards and there’s 4 or 5. Then it will again be about recruitment. Wing backs another central midfielder, left midfielder and striker. A very busy summer for Steidten hopefully"

"That’s alright then pdbis, we’ll just accept that forever more shall we? I’ll tell you how you don’t change that habit - by not picking your best team. That’s the sort of apologist shit that lets him get away with throwing cup quarter finals. We relatively rarely beat Arsenal either, but we did when we gave ourselves the best chance to do so by playing our best players."

"Oh yeh he’s gone. No way you behave like that in a Press Conference if you’re not leaving at the end of the season. Taking the piss out of the fans, belittling the club. He should be cock-a-hoop to be in charge of a club like ours after his embarrassing failures at Sociedad and Sunderland, not giving it the big one as if we should be lucky to have him. Add to that the money spent since coming back. The bare minimum he should have achieved is winning the Conference League. If he wasn’t so spineless, and knew how to buy and use a striker, we’d have won the Europa League instead and played in the Champions League. He might have been due some kudos then."

We were never going to win regardless of which side we put out. Two wins in 60-odd years tells us that.

He's worse than Allardyce for me. As you said he's been cunting off the fans for a while. And Allardyce didn't have an obscene amount of money to spend nor inherited a pretty decent side already. And he threw that game last night 100%.

"I'm actually quite shocked at the reaction to this game. We've been playing like that for nigh on 2 years, we either get unbelievably lucky, our keeper has a wordly, the other team are too shit to break through, and one of our top notch players produces the odd bit of magic. We are a negative, defensive, boring cսnt football team who play football without the football. We were just as bad against Fulham ffs, the cսnt should have gone back end of last year when we absolutely stunk the place out against Palace and were in the relegation zone. He's also been doing this post most cunting of West Ham fans for a long time now. However, this one is on a par with the Allardyce ear cupping, and it has to have put the nail in the coffin. You can't got after our away support, the best there is, after you've just surrendered like that, with a half a billion pound squad, that's beyond the pale. I was convinced he'd get a new contract, but he's just signed off with that presser, gone in the summer. I certainly won't be renewing if he stays, and many more won't as well, I can say that for a fact."

"Dreadful performance and it won't get any better from here on in imo. I think a lot of pros now see through why Moyes is disliked by fans. The Redknapps slated the first half WH performance and said Moyes will bring on Paqueta and JWP at half time to change things... Soucek did his best to prove Sir Alf is a master scout although I wouldn't criticise Johnson like others have. I think he did OK and even made an excellent through pass from which Bowen scored. All of those squad players should have played more but Moyes has favourites like Soucek that stays however badly he plays. And to again start Benrahma and then bring on Ings FFS! How much more evidence does Moyes need that both are finished at this level. The biggest difference for me was the Liverpool players out ran, out battled and out performed ours to prove to their manager they should be in their first team. Our reserves looked shell shocked to be getting a start..."

"Percy. His substitutions are baffling. Who he replaces and who he brings on. When he makes the substitutions. How many substitions he makes considering he is allowed to make 5. The fact that he has 5 subs at his disposal and a young striker looking to leave because of lack of playing opportunities. The fact that he often has 2 goalkeepers on the bench (and more to the point, why no one has ever asked him why?). I think the frustration with the West Ham fans is the clear and obvious stubborness and unwilling to bring his coaching into the 20th century."

"J.Riddle 2:58 Thu Dec 21 Re: ‚ö? Liverpool v West Ham - Official Match Thread I knew it would be defensive block, go a goal down then leave it too late and go 0-2 before bringing better players on. I stopped watching at 0-1 then noticed it went 0-2 and turned off. Haven't bothered watching highlights. Hate watching Moyes and Moyesball. _____ wasnt a defensive block tho was it? I watched the barcodes - they held a strict 4-5-1 and 5-4-1 all game long - we had players who generally tried to keep a few yards away from any liverpool player in any phases. Simply appalling selection and game plan"

Rossal that's a great post I also expected a triple change at least at half time no as usual he gave up the match with the team he picked. Klopp praising Moyes up before the match was the icing on the cake both cunts make me vomit.

"That post match press conference is appalling. The whole “what do people expect West Ham to be doing?” argument fucks me off. To be clear, nobody EXPECTS us to go and win at Anfield. The expectation is you play your best team to try and win there and give yourself the best chance, so the bar of expectation isn’t set particularly high from us. He basically all but admitted he gave up on the competition when we drew Liverpool away. Gutless wanker. That was an interview of a spiky prick of a man who knows he isn’t here next season so doesn’t care who he pisses off. Yet people continue to support him because we won a trophy with him in a competition that once Lazio and Villarreal went out, we were clear favourites for, and he dines out on it like he won us the Champions League."

"Woke up and still fucking livid at that cսnt we have for a manager and the discontent he has for the fans that travelled up. Team selection unforgiveable. How on earth he expects to get a result at Anfield with Soucek Fornals and Johnson in the same 11 is baffling. The manager couldn't give a fuck and had 0 interest and the players played like it aswell. No bollocks, no belief, to be honest 5-1 flattered us. How he watched that first half and didnt make a change at HT.......he proper took the piss out of us fans last night. Horrible horrible deluded stubborn cսnt he is. Cup QF with a great chance of making Wembley and he fucks it off as we've won a few games recently so has a bit of breathing space with the owners. Didnt fuck off the Arsenal game off did he as he was under a bit of pressure. All he cares about is himself, fuck all else and definitely not about us fans I despise the cսnt, theres no coming back from last night for me. If he don't want to try win that last night looking at the other 3 teams left what exactly does he want from this season?"
