Fornals was on for the full 90 mins Sir Alf. Alvarez came off for Ings on about 80 mins yet Soucek was by far our worst player but that's not saying a lot.

He doesn’t do squad until its a cup quarter final against one of the “elite” and he decides that’s the time he does rotate because it’s so audacious to think we could dream of beating a weakened Liverpool side. I still think there is an element of not being able to judge some of these squad players. Outside of his favoured 11 he is saying the rest can’t play his way…..they are saying they don’t want to play his way…..they could of turned up played a blinder and they still wouldn’t get a look in until possibly the next round and even then it would have been a semi final so back in with his favourites……he doesn’t do ‘squad’

The biggest difference for me was the Liverpool players out ran, out battled and out performed ours to prove to their manager they should be in their first team.
