I cant believe so many people on here like watching terrible football. This isn't what we're about and that is the main issue. You can only get away with playing cunty Moyes tactics if you win. Anyone think we're winning against the Mancs? Nope.

"Also, going football has changed, In my teens to forties it was about the day,we got beat more times than winning and was shit, but a lot of the time football was almost secondary and enjoyed the day. Now it is like the theatre and the armchair supporter see more than ever and expect to be entertained, hence twitter going mad, this site etc… lots of I know better."

"what did you expect when he picked ogbonna? he hasn't got the legs for european football where they congress enough. johnson's last decent game was a couple of years ago in lyon, the manager threw the game. it's funny, this mythical fucking virus avoids soucek every time it's mentioned"

"I think you will all moan about something else with the new manager. I’m more concerned about the players how they turn on and off, 6000 expected more on Wednesday, but I have seen it done it there quite a lot since the 70s ,again with decent players, dare I say it’s the West Ham way and it must come from the top?"

Aerosol Lube Are you asking us to judge this seriously shit manager on the basis we were once even more shit? Are you soft in the head?
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"We've had long periods when we were shit but we've almost always at least tried to win every game, provided some sort of entertainment. Allardyce for a brief period bottled games and rightly got dogs abuse for it. Moyes bottles 15 games a season minimum and there are people on here queueing up to clean his arsehole. It's fucking ridiculous. 450m that cսnt has spent for this level of football."

"I really don’t get it at the moment I have seen much worse through the years, are people more depressed? I don’t think a new manager will change much just a different issue around the corner for West Ham"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Man Utd - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Different opinions and sometimes largely the same opinion but a difference in the depth of feeling or emotion. On this site, my guess is that it’s 80:20 in favour of replacing Moyes to see if we can progress even further in terms of better league / cup performance while playing in different ways ( possession, pressing etc ). It’s possible we get another Pellegrini scenario but I think the risk is worthwhile personally. Football is about entertainment and excitement and the chance of that is worth it. Moyes has limitations. He has demonstrated that even with better plays he does not have the know how to develop other systems and styles and build a squad and get the best out of a larger investment in players. Why I’m more hopeful this time is Steidten. Getting recruitment right most of the time is something we’ve never done and having coach aligned with a DOF with same the same ideals is critical. That alone is reason for Moyes to go as rumours the two don’t see the same way on how a club should be run, game should be played. The squabbles will continue between us. I don’t understand why anyone would want Moyes to continue to be manager now but everyone’s entitled to an opinion."

"Can't believe this thread hasn't been locked yet, as the game means fuck all now. I'd like to think this arrogant, utter wanker will get shitloads tomorrow, but since he's about 3 miles away from the faithful, the cսnt will likely get a pass. 0-3"

"Someone has leaked tomorrows team and tactics having caught sight of Nolan and McKinley’s Apple iPad at Rush Green Team was this: ——— TBD ————- TBD ——- TBD ——— TBD —— TBD ———— TBD ———— TBD TBD ——— Soucek ———- Paqueta —————- TBD ——————- Subs at 75th minute if down by 2: Ings and Fornals Subs at 75th minute if 3 or more goals down: Ings, Fornals and Benrahma Subs at 88th minute if only 1 down, drawing or ahead: Fornals Tactical approach : sit deep, low double block , narrow, keep the shape. Look for Tomy on set pieces Hoof it direct towards Jarod if pinned in by the United press"

"VAR had made football bad enough, but add that cսnt Moyes to that and the abysmal football we play and I haven't watched a live game since going to Lincoln and doubt I'll bother until he's gone. Years gone by I'd be foaming at the bit at Man Utd at home, now I look to see if there's an antiques road trip on I can watch instead. Fucking dinosaur jock."
