Some still slagging off Moyes some of you really do have a problem with this game of football. Club wins- club wins cup- club is 6th- club is in the best state its been for 30/40 years.

"It will be very close to that Vexed and he will likely resort to “The Alamo” tactics again as you say. With the likes of Soucek and no Kudus or Paqueta, we ain’t winning any midfield possession battle. Might be useful to have one of those split screen set ups on the tele tomorrow? The game only in our half will fit one side and Antiques Roadshow on the other if we want some excitement ? ;-)"

I think Moyes will set us up like he did against Arsenal and Brighton away where we barely got out of our area for 90% of the game. ----------------------------Areola Coufal-----Zouma---------Ogbonna------Emerson --------------------------Alvarez Bowen-----------Soucek----JWP-----------Fornals --------------------------------Ings This is the depressing team and formation I fear Moyes will field tomorrow. If we get anything out of this one we'll have done well.

"I'd have thought the whole point of dispensing with Soucek's services, at least at the start of games, was to play a proper wide-attacking player like Cornet and allow others to play a more central role. With Paqueta still unavailable, that would be Kudus, and if he isn't starting then we might as well go defensive and start with Soucek. And of course, JWP starts in all cases. Logic and simplicity serve each other, right?"

"As many are saying Antonio and Paqueta are out. While Aguerd, Zouma and Kudus have late fitness tests and 50% chance of playing. Of the three I think we need Kudus most and hope he can start... Areola Coufal Mavropanos Ogbonna Emerson Soucek Alvarez Kudus Fornals Cornet Bowen"

"We need to win 3 games more than any of Villa, Arsenal & Tottenham over the second half of the season to be in with a sniff of the CL via a league placing. I can't see any of those 3 dropping 9 points more than us in the next 18 or so games. With that in mind, though, this is definitely one of the games we should be aiming to bag all three points. Europa again should be our focus - that will be 4 straight years of European football. As it's West Ham though, however many years in Europe we play it will always be one year too few to be regarded as ""consistent"" by some."

"If it is being written off it is because Moyes has a got a very good team going but not a good squad to keep it going.....hopefully some of the squad replacements will do a job but it is hard when few minutes are had by any of them to get into form, and the fact they rarely get to play with our better players like Paqueta or Kudus as they are their replacements......this is where I'd like to see Moyes manage the squad better."

"A tough game of course, but then they all are. If we win this one, we’ll be on 36 points. Last year, we had 15 points after 20 games. That is some improvement. If they all turn up, we could well beat Brighton again and, amazing as it sounds, will be in touch with the CL places. All to play for, IMO, although I dare say the moaning minnies will be predicting a defeat. ⚒⚒⚒⚒ Oh, Happy New Year, everyone."

"Tough game and the sort of team who we dont seem to be able to get anywhere near at home. Can see us getting dicked, though hopefully the stand in's will put in a good performance as we have fuck all in the squad that comes close to replacing the missing players."

Happy for a draw given who’s likely to be out. would expect a win if any of our second line were likely to step in with impact but I can’t see that happening. When was the last time anyone made a big impact for us coming off the bench?

Kudus thing there are mixed rumours. Benrahma and Fornals are the only options arent they. Cornet is clearly never getting a chance. It will be a struggle.
