Ings should have been out the window at 00.01 on Sunday morning. Indications are that Moyes has finally lost patience and will get rid. If Ings starts tonight that will be very disappointing. Hopefully Mubama will start and Marshall and a couple of other youths on the bench tonight. I can see Marshall getting 5/10 minutes tonight with a bit of luck! The U21 have the Trophy match v Wycombe next Tuesday which will be too close to the Sunday FA cup game for any youth representation in the FA cup which is a shame but should at least give no excuse for a strong team v Bristol City as we have a break after that game.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"On the face of it neither Fornals and Benrhama have fully deserved a start. A more attacking line up would have Cornet,Mubama and Bowen. That would be good to see and logically as both have created goals in their very brief appearances. Fornals and Benrhama can be an option but might fully drain any confidence they have but going forward Cornet and Mubama will offer more if given proper game time. All 4 will probably be required during January if they stay.OF the 4 I'd rather Benrhama depart as he needs a new start. We have the cup game on Sunday thus whoever plays well can start . Though of course Moyes will play Ings. You can see that."

"Smoke this:- the reason Cornet has not been getting a game is that Moyes hatched a ""cunning plan"" (worthy of Baldrick) to deliberately hold him back so that he wouldn't get picked for the AFCON. Tonight he will be unleashed as a devastating secret weapon and will be an ever-present for the remainder of the season, racking up 10 goals and 15 assists. Then like my dreams...."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
Not sure why Cornet is written off as he has never had a run of games for West Ham since he was bought? Injured early on first season and a hundred minutes in the last 2 seasons in the league and one or two cameos in the Conference last season and 10 mins in a Europa game. Burnleys top scorer 3 seasons ago. Seems injury prone admittedly and maybe won’t be a worker ? May be rubbish but we simply will never know
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
Fornals hasn't done anything to justify a start... I'd move Bowen back out to RW and play Mubama up top. Assuming Paqueta is out then Benrahma can play his last PL game for us before he buggers off to France (or Fulham).
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Yes a complaint to FIFA would be appropriate, not that it will help us tonight."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
We can't moan about SKY moving the fixtures. They and the rest of the TV bods paid the crazy prices we can. Bought us Kudus etc. What should have been stated and was last tournament is that the PL had an agreement that players will be available for the last fixtures. I can see that Kudus could be injured in this last game but he could have been injured in the previous game too or in training. It's this agreement that has been broken. Both by the PL and GFA (possibly FIFA too )

"fraser - Yep, with Cornet a non entity and starting Ings or Mubama not good ideas for different reasons, that is what I'd go with, but would worry about Fornals slowing down our attacks. Would be a huge 3 points, but suspect Moyes would take a point, that's not saying he won't go for the win though."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"I think he'll keep Bowen up front and use Benrahma and Fornals on the wings... Brighton have up to 11 players out I've just read. Yes Sky are cunts, no way would they have moved Liverpool's game if it meant them not having Salah"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
Why the fuck is Kudos not playing? Salah played for Liverpool last night and hes off to AFCON. Last game of NY fixtures we've been fucked over.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"For a combined £60m you would hope that Cornet, Ings and Benrahma could step up. But no-one is expecting it. Benrahma has been too ineffective for too long now. He’s a bottler and his good games are too few these days. Cornet is very average for us but some seemed to think he was the answer recently. I’ll be honest, I’ll take him if he works hard which is one thing I have seen from him when he’s come on but can he and will he do it from the start? I doubt it. Ings the less said the better. He’s not had a run in the team but he’s not done anything in the year he’s been here to suggest he deserves a run. Not the answer. Then there’s Antonio who we’ve relied on for far too long now. It really depends what player comes back from injury - if it’s the same player then hes in rapid decline and not much of a better option than the above, but if he can put in a shift and stay on his feet then he can be useful."

"Why should others even bother ""to step up and show what they can do""? Even if they play absolute blinders they know the minute Moyes's darlings are available they'll be kicked right back into the long grass, never to be seen again. This good team/man management?"

"Moyes getting his excuses in early ?? And repeating that top 6 is possibly beyond us? From yesterday’s pre match interview. Basically saying what we are. His squad he built is paper thin with quality and he’s not developed any cover. He’s taking full credit for the good signings though ? :-) Moyes: “I think we are still up against it with the level of competition but we’re never going to say we’re not going for it,” Moyes said. “I think the next month with the boys going away to the African Nations, just the whole programme. How can we cope without Kudus who has been sensational? How is Paqueta’s injury? “We have to make sure we’ve not lost a big part of it because the truth is we’ve hardly had any injuries all season and we’ve not had to make too many changes and it’ll be now for others to step up and show what they can do.”"

"Since we are on a run and it's still kind of holiday season I'm gonna climb out of bed at silly o'clock to watch this, so we better fucking win! Very frustrating to lose Kudus because SKY moved this, look how important Salah was to the scouse last night. Cunts."

"Well said vexed, Think Pacqueta and Kudos will be available and will play, 1.0 half time and run out comfortable 2-0 winners full time Boring , defensive, game usual low press, defensive football but a result before the layoff for transfers reflection, and licking of wounds before we go again, h opefully with a few outs and some exiting new additions Happy new year all"

Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Brighton - Official Match Thread - Preview
fraser it doesn't leave an option upfront with No Kudus or Paqueta. but then I only asked the question not stating you did.
