"Far too easy for them at the moment, Areola is keeping us in the game. Even with our best eleven we’re poor in possession so this is no surprise. We just can’t keep the ball."

We are playing to conservative. Johnson has hardly been over the half way line and the one time he did though we nearly scored. Bowen much better on the right but that leaves no one in the middle. Clearly that can be seen. Fornals offering little. Cornet or Mubama on down the middle but it seems like Soucek is prefferred to Bowen when Bowen pops wide. Brighton are there to be had but we need to be more adventiuos. Changes needed

If by so far so good you mean we are clinging on to a clean sheet against a side playing a 40 year old they are so injury ridden then yes all going to the Moyes master plan!

"Done OK considering it's our bogey team and two of our best players out. Okay with Oggy and Mav defending deep as they are more comfortable with it in front of them, thought Johnson has done alright to be fair but not getting a lot from Pablo and Benny."

We concede so much possession. Why can’t the players hold on to the ball?

"Squad in reality is wafer thin if it includes players who will never get a game like Cornet, Ings, Kehrer, Mubama, and an ageing Cresswell, and Benrahma starting. Also Zouma misses too many games. Tonight highlights just how thin it is. We need to get rid of the deadwood and sign another 5 or 6 quality players if we are serious about challenging for top 6 and cups!"
