"Not sure how Paqueta passed a fitness test. First proper run and challenge and his injury resurfaced. Losing Stavros probably cost us their equaliser as he has a bit of pace but Bristol came to knock a few of our lads about and got away with it. That said, they played better football second half against our 10 men ( Soucek !!!). Steidten will need to sh*t a miracle for us to withstand the injuries and mismanagement of the squad. Unlikely to happen. I foresee us finishing 9th, 10th and no Euro qualification but Moyes being renewed. Not a disaster but an opportunity missed. Happy New Year"

Maybe Moyes has to stump up out of his own sky for the minutes substitutes play in a game.

"It’s no wonder that Mubama is having a tough time, what striker or coach have we got for the kid to learn from? The 2 quality strikers we bought Moyes systematically ruined them with his fucking stubborn shit style. Mubama is having to make it up as he goes along, everything comes down to Moyes and his non management ability- at which he’s a fucking Einstein level genius."

"Fans are entitled to their opinions but the way in which some people think they know best is laughable. If we won every week there would still be people on here moaning. I don't agree all Moyes decisions but we are in the top 6 in the league table, won our European group and still have a chance of going into 4th round of the FA Cup."

"scott_d 10:15 Mon Jan 8 Re: the subs - 2 were enforced so I'm not appluading the 5. Knowing he only had one more mid-game change available, a forward-thinking manager would have made a change at half-time and hold back his other 1 or 2 for the second half. Given that it clearly wasn't working once Pacqueta had gone off, I'm not sure what he thought would change before they equalised, nor why he waited another 15 mins before doing anything"

"Tomshardware 9:50 Mon Jan 8 We're talking about a game of football, not brain surgery. Fans have been proved right many times down the years on certain things, fans generally are not fucking stupid. Would you play Soucek every week? Yes or no?"

"As bad as it is to watch sometimes it isnt big Sam level of anti football, we actually are pretty good at forward passing as opposed to punting. Let's face it with no paq and Kudus we're not going to do anything too special till they're back"

"He put out his strongest side possible against a mid-table Championship team and it was exactly the same story as we have come to expect when playing at home against teams we should beat. Bright start, some glimpses of an attacking attitude which resulted in an early goal. But soon enough revert to the standard sideways and backwards passes, sitting back and allowing our opponents to dictate the tempo. This is utterly embarassing for a team like West Ham to be playing like this at home to a medeocre Championship team. No disrespect to Bristol City, we should be outplaying a team like this. But after the game was up it was hard to tell who the Premier League team was. This is why Moyes still has his haters. It's not just about winning games, it's about being so fucking negative and cautious even in home games where we should be comfortably winning. It's not the end of the world, we're still in the competition. But Moyes is doing himself no favours with the Moyes out brigade. Mind you, it was nice to see him make more than one substitution."

"Tomshardware 9:50 Mon Jan 8 A stunningly pathetic post. Funny thing is, you don't need any coaching badges or coaching experience to see Moyes limitations and mistakes. They are glaring. Anyone who has played football at any level could write an essay on the mistakes he makes during a game."

"Another performance where it looks like we get the goal and then the players believe they've won the game. Not sure if this is Moyes influence or not but it does seem strange. Once Paqueta went off it was almost like the team reverted to rope-a-dope again. And as for the people slagging off Mubama. I am absolutely fucking disgusted to be associated with these people. Yes, everyone is allowed their opinion, but the vitirol coming this kids way on social media is an utter joke. The kids barely played two games in the first team and is getting slated with such venom. I find it sickening. Give the kid a chance. You have to remember he has a terrible coach that doesn't like to bring youth through. So to get where he has is testament to him. Moyes won't help him. And he certainly won't work with him to make his game better. Mubama will need to fend for himself and learn as he goes. Have some patience and some understanding. Football at PL level is a mind fuck. The level is ridiculous. Give him a chance to find his place and learn. When did we become a set of supporters that so roundly turns out back on young players. And, if it turns out that plainly and simply the kid is not PL level, then that is on Moyes. He needs to address it and deal with it. But it would be nice if he gives the kid a proper chance like at least several full matches to learn. I doubt he will though. Its too much aggro for Moyes."

Tomshardware - fuck me so now if you don't enjoy the football and can see the difference between good and bad play you need coaching knowledge. Yep let's all go over there or watch us on TV and don't dare to not enjoy or like what we see because we're not professional coaches .

"Moyes bigging up Ings is just his way of digging out Mubama, ''there you go, I gave you all what you wanted (playing the kid) and he was shit'' Nutsin - Jesus christ, you are either fishing or totally lost the plot, either one isn't good. We were at full strength against a Championship side (who are shit btw) and they played us off the park second half. It was fucking shit, again."

"Nutsin is a plebb. Mubama didn't play well but grew into the game when we attacked at the end but for most of the game he had to defend on our 30m line. then have balls pumped over his head, nothing came to his feet. Bowen after his goal, but no one salgging him off, kept going to the byline only to lose the ball. Like most of our squad players Moyes doesn't use there strengths he just wants them to defend. That's why he sees value in Soucek in tha position. But once we have the ball we go and lose ot to easily. bristol had 5 players 22 and under today we must have had the oldest and slowest team involved in the FA Cup. We have as good as young players as they do but have not been utilised for them and our squad to benefit. Moyes has to go now no pint in him staying. He's not going to win anything more he's just going to waste the squad players and youth. with this we'll finish 10th and win nothing but lose Paqueta or Kudus. despise the likes of nutsin and Two who lick his arse even when Moyes produces dross like today"

"Emerson seems pretty quick, I remember how most on here were slagging him off when we first bought him. The Bubble isn’t exactly slow, Zouma has been a good signing he has been solid at the back but it is now becoming obvious that he is slowing down. Coufal the same as Zouma. It definitely needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. Probably the biggest weakness we have."

"Finding the right player to fill the void isn’t that easy in any transfer window especially when you have FPP rules to consider. Fortunately, the Premier League Profit sustainability rules aren't a concern for us. The 3 years to May 2023, give us losses of £33 million, well within the Premier Leagues £105 million. To say nothing of the £100 million for Declan (all profit), that will be in the 2024 accounts. UEFA FFP tighter, but well within those limits re losses and turnover to wages ratio."

"Keep dreaming. 8th highest spenders in the PL, over the last 4 years and what did that get us? Three consecutive seasons in Europe, winning a European trophy, sitting 6th in the PL and through to the last 16 in a European competition. Seems pretty reasonable to me."

"Ings played better today but he missed a sitter and still offered nothing. Yeah Moyes has made some mistakes, who hasn’t? he’s also got a lot right, however his mistakes are manageable, the players that aren’t up to snuff can be sold with minimum loss if any. Definitely nothing like the waste of money we had under Pellegrini. He has the players fighting and putting in the effort, you can tell the players are a unit and are fighting for the badge which is a sign of good management. I’m sticking to my guns, it’s way too early to give up on Moyes, we’re close to being a real threat in the league and in Europe. I’m amazed at how wankers who have been moaning for years that we never win anything are still complaining. You’re all fucking delusional!"
