Danny Ings
"Now Moyes has stumbled across this formation that doesn’t require us to boot the ball to Antonio and hope he chases down everything until he is on his knees. Will we see a resurgence in Danny Ings? The above is not his game but if we are playing with this front three of Bowen, Kudos and Paqueta, sub appearances from Ings in the 9 role should start to become more effective. Or am I mental and affording him too much Xmas spirit? Merry new year"
Re: Danny Ings
Hopefully Danny Ings is the last in a long line of washed up striker signings now that they get evaluated by Steidten...
Re: Danny Ings
Samson lost his strength after his hair was cut. Ings has lost his since growing a new barnet...
Re: Danny Ings
"Decent Barnet these days I thought. But yeah, his career can resurge like his hairline lsewhere"

Re: Danny Ings
"Sincerely hope we flush this turd away in January, I've actually started to resent and take a big dislike to him (not that it will bother him) but please get this old, bald headed carthorse OUT of the football club even if it means taking a hit."

Re: Danny Ings
i doubt Ings will be on his way moyes see's more value in this has been getting minutes ahead of Cornet or Mubama let alone a better option or proactive management in ayouth player. it's why he'll keep Cresswell too.

Re: Danny Ings
"Coffee - If you look at his stats they aren't that prolific. 38 goals in 122 appearances for Burnley, 3 in 14 for Liverpool, 41 in a loan and permanent spell of 91 appearances, which isn't bad, for Southampton and 2 in 27 for us."
Re: Danny Ings
"If it was Moyes that wanted him then I suppose the upside is that Sullivan will defer to Steidten every time now on transfers in. Disaster of a signing. Emery didn’t want him and he was not getting minutes. Did anyone go watch the bloke even on videos of games he did play in at Villa ? He was struggling the previous season but I guess it’s classic of old school managers like Moyes that look at the past goals record and the reputation and ignore the form and age and attributes ( slow striker, plays in a pair, likes to poach a goal etc). Maybe it was a Sullivan signing ? He’s signed 50 failures but if it was Moyes like I say, at least it proves what we know. Don’t trust him with transfers. Steidten getting Alvarez and Kudus has arguably saved Moyes from the sack already. Hopefully Steidten Dan get some more gems in to mask Moyes limitations as a manager."

Re: Danny Ings
"So which of Paqueta, Bowen & Kudus are you taking off to bring on the dismal Ings? Need to get him out in January but will have to subsidise his wages Promotion chasing Championship teams should be interested but obviously cant afford his BLOATED wage"

Re: Danny Ings
We should get him out if we still can and sign a player that has a career ahead of him rather than one nearly over with.

Re: Danny Ings
"Well, yes, I suppose if we play with a 3 up front then Ings does have more chance to play and also be effective. But he is so poor I simply cannot see Moyes relying on him in any capacity. He will be off in Jan and we need to go and buy a younger, fitter and better player than Ings to push for that central role."

Re: Danny Ings
A saints mate of mine wants him back at St Mary's. . I told him he was shot to pieces had splinters in his backside and they couldn't afford his wages He then asked me if Charlie Austin was still playing.
