"I love the way loads are going on about us beating Man U... Yeah this gutless cսnt threw the towel in a cup QF... and some think it's justified because we beat Man U who have lost 9 out of 19 fucking league games, that practically every other game.. and I'm sure they said the other day they hadn't beaten anyone in the top half when they'd played them."

"Percy Dalton 7:40 Mon Jan 1 ''Granted he's cracked out a couple of unexpected results recently and if we beat Brighton that's another unexpected result.'' And there you have it. As said, there is only one reason why beating a tin pot fucking club like Brighton at home would be unexpected, and we all know why that would be, even the biggest of the pro Moyes brigade. The risk of course is would we end up with a De Zerbi? Probably not, in truth."

"Vexed. I am entertained, I enjoy it when we beat Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd. As for that unrecognised striker, he seems to be doing quite well, doesn’t he? When did we have a recognised striker, who scored more PL goals in half a season, than the one that you don’t recognise? When did we last have 3 consecutive European qualifications, or win a European trophy?"

"norwaytips 2:30 Tue Jan 2 Dont you want to be entertained? Do you like seeing us lineup with no recognised striker trying to get a 0-0 every week? Wouldn't you like to see players like Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen used properly, to their potential? Do you think that wasting obvious talent like Haller and Scammaca is a bit....shit? Didn't you fancy being in a cup final this season? Dont you have any standards or self respect?"

"Great and I hope he accepts the deal. The last Four and a half seasons, see as number 8 in the PL spending league, after Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle, Man City and Villa. 3 years in Europe, a European semi final, followed by a European trophy, seems a decent return. Of course we are still in Europe and challenging for European places for a 4th consecutive year. It seems that Vexed is to management and successful tactics, what Jack the Ripper was to neurosurgery."

"“Imagine if he tried to win” Well, having beaten Man Utd and Arsenal back to back by playing our first team, both of which clearly everyone is happy with, I am actually left pondering imagine if we tried to win against Liverpool. We might have had a two-legged semi final against Fulham to look forward to."

Got to love perhaps the stupidest anti-Moyes argument that he[s responsible for everything that goes working but other people are responsible when things go well.

"Admiral Lard 6:01 Mon Jan 1 I agree the club is in a reasonable position now but very little of that is down to Moyes and one of my main annoyances with Moyes is that he is entirely incapable of capitalising on the rare good position we are in. COVID season aside when we punched above our weight we have been absolutely awful to watch - please tell me you're not going to try to deny that irrefutable fact - and results have been patchy despite huge investment. Our saving grace is that we have money and now in Steidten someone that can actually go about finding players and acquiring them in a professional forward thinking manner. Had this been left to Moyes we'd have spent 120m on Maguire, McTominay and Solanke. Moyes gets far too much credit for the Conf League win, which given the season he inflicted on us was the minimum expected return as favourites for that competition from day one. What is the point of another 2.5 years of this bloke? Zero entertainment to be had and he in his interviews has indicated that we as a club don't belong at the top table, so what's the point? We could maybe win a cup if he hadn't fucking deliberately waved the white flag at Liverpool. So what's the point t? We might win the Europa League, but the bloke doesn't try to win games. What's the fuckin g point of another 2.5 years of this? Oh our bank balance might look good. That will please the fuckin train spotters like Lard and Blagg in between wanking off over attendances. Pair of holier than thou flip flopping pricks."

"Soucek is a valuable squad option to be called upon when others are unavailable, we need to go direct or break through with a set piece. It’s only him being used as a midfield lynchpin when he doesn’t have the technique, putting the whole team under pressure as the opposition camps out in our half for most of the game, that makes us who watch games despair when we see his name in the starting line-up yet again. Wish him all the best."

Why should we be unexpected to beat an injury ravaged Brighton side who have spent half of what we have.. Could it be that they're much better coached..

Granted he's cracked out a couple of unexpected results recently and if we beat Brighton that's another unexpected result. But let's see how it pans out in the fa cup and the rest of this campaign.

"Spot on Billy Vexed, Johnson and the other anti Moyes/GSB morons display the equivalent of sporting NIMBYism. The club has never been in such a strong position on and off the pitch but these fools either can't see it or, most likely, simply don't want to see it."
