I just imagined the first tie then did I Manuel 'cos that's exactly what I saw for large chunks of the game and that was with our one decent forward outlet available. Danny Ings then anyone? There is absolutely no point playing Ings (or Mubama) on their own up top which is why I was advocating a pairing of Marshall and Mubama. They have at least played together for the U21s and as Marshall didn't play for the youths yesterday it isn't too much of a stretch to imagine / hope that he might be involved tonight. Is that's okay with you Manuel?

We should have more than enough to get the job done even with our 3 best players missing.

"Ludo - We won't be sticking 10 men behind the ball against a mid table championship side and meekly surrendering, and it's just plain stupid to start both kids up top. Sorry, but who made you the expert?"
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
We all know that Moyes will stick 10 men behind the ball against a mid table Championship side. If he does that we will lose a dour cup tie by the odd goal. Moyes needs to grow a pair and start Marshall and Mubama up front together and get into them. Would far rather go down fighting than meekly surrender only for Moyes to come out afterwards blaming injuries and the Africans... the man has had four years to assemble a squad that should be capable of defeating Bristol City.

"Good luck those going, if I could have got a ticket I’d have been there. Wrap the fuck up!"

"Am going out of sympathy for a mate as no other cսnt wanted to go with him, so I expect to be very cold and bored. Thanks to VAR and moyes utter dross I haven't even watched a game on TV since I went to Lincoln and I'm guessing it hasn't improved ?üòÑ"

I’d start Cornet and keep the permanently useless Benrahma firmly on the bench. But Moyes seems to have a pathological hatred of Cornet so that won’t happen. Fuck knows why he bought him.

"I wouldn’t mind seeing Marshall, Kodua & Mubama line up together up front with the two lines behind them being experienced first teamers that are available."
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"wd40 typical Moyes fan argument. no has ever said play the full team qith kids. that team of youth were no where near as good as the u21's today. what most are saying is with Alvarez,Bowen Kudus and Paqueta playing alongside them they would perform better no doubt. But playing a want away Cresswell,Benrhama or Ings they will struggle to a certain degree.but they might do better in place of them, can't do any worse."
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Now everyone wants Moyes to play the under 21's and the youth players in the F.A Cup. No doubt same lot must have agreed with B.F.S and his team he sent out in the Cup against Forrest.
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Merc I can't see that on any of the previews but doesn't suprise me with Casey,Marshall and Scarles obmitted from the u21's today. with an expected 11 of Fab,Coufal,Mavro,Ogbonna,Emerson,Alvarez,Jwp,Soucek,Fornals,Benrhama,Ings or Mubama. 8 places are needed to keep each other warm to the 87th minute. Areola,Johnson,Zouma,Cresswell,Cornet,Casey,Marshall,Orford may travel too or Chesters but think he's injured or Anang as much needed 2nd keeper."

"From the official site: ""Along with Mubama, three more FA Youth Cup winners, defender Kaelan Casey, midfielder Ollie Scarles and forward Callum Marshall are also set to travel as part of Moyes' squad"""

The U21s won 4-2 at West Brom this afternoon.
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"A couple of key players missing makes us a bang average team. So adding some squad players into the first team too, makes for a miserable evening. Fully expect Bristol City to rise to the occasion and make it a difficult night for us. We made them look like a Prem team at the Olympic Stadium and there is no change we'll be capable (even if by some miracle Moyes wants to) of bossing the game. Still think we might have enough to go through but don't expect it to be exciting."

"I hate getting knocked out the FA Cup as the dream disappears for yet another year, but the chances of us winning the thing are nigh on next to nothing, so part of me is wondering if there really is much point progressing, but I suppose you have to dream."

Wigan and Portsmouth? You're comparing us to them! You must be unaware of how much fucking money we've spent and how many fans we play in front of every week.

"As much as a lot of fans hate it, the Premiership and Europa are the priorities for the club, a run in the FA cup is good but doesn't generate anywhere near the income of the Prem and Europa. Ask Portsmouth and Wigan fans if an appearance in the FA Cup Final was worth relegation and subsequent drops down the league."

"I strongly suspect he will use this chance to prove (PROVE) that his way of working with a limited number of preferred players is correct by ""rotating"" the squad as he did at Liverpool and effectively throwing the game. What's a prestigious pot or two compared with showing everybody that you were right all along?"

"Alf- Are we going to be playing walking football, as that must be the slowest side out a PL club could put out. Oh well, we might score from a corner. Going to go for a very scrappy 0-1 win. Maybe our away support can go and visit Nelson Mandela House, if they want some excitement on their trip."

Sounds about right Sir Alf. Should be enough to win this time round. Hammers
