"agree about JWP, it was a one man midfield last night with the other prick anonymous as per usual. also agree with leroys, the cսnt now knows his only route to that new contract is another season in europe. two thrown cup games in the space of a month is disgusting"

"I can't believe there are some that are excusing that loss because we've got some players out. Wow. You could buy their whole squad for the money we spent on JWP alone have a fucking word with yourselves. There is not a single player in their squad that would fetch close to what we paid for Danny Ings, yet we get comprehensively outplayed & outfought like that? That is pretty much how we play every week, the only difference is usually having a ¬£50mil Brazilian international magician producing moments of magic, coupled with ridiculous luck. Unless anyone can care to remind me the last time we actually played well for 90 minutes in a match? I mean playing proper football, not 90 minute backs to the wall shithouse cսnt football."

"I have followed this great Club for 59 years and last night was one of the worst display's I have ever seen. Jow Ings, Soucek,Benrahma,Cornet Coufal,Cresswell get a wage is beyond me. However, how can people criticise JWP when he is constantly covering for the Invisible Soucek? I have said it before, and I will say it again. One common denominator is Moyes. He is responsible, no one else. He has drained this Club of ambition and the most important thing the ability to play football. Who really gives a damn about some mickey mouse Cup. The FA Cup, since I was a kid ,was THE trophy to play for. The fuckin Tea lady could do a better job than Moyes. Come Sunday it will be the same old, same old. Just sack the Prick"

"95 - Yea broadly agree with that, it's always a pisser going out the FA Cup, but all considered this isn't that big a setback, if any at all. What concerns me the most is we look absolutely nothing like a top 6 side, we barely threatened them over 2 games and never once had a sustained period of pressure in either game, that is diabolical against this rubbish, and let's have it right they are shit, even Millwall won there recently. I wouldn't worry about being split on Cornet, that was probably his last game for us last night. Feel the same about JWP, an England player? hahaha, Southgate got that one right. Coufal has always looked like an amateur footballer to me, utterly woeful, but this is a club that doesn't sign full backs, so he ain't going anywhere."

"threesixty 12:59 Wed Jan 17 Totally agree. I watched the game re run and tbh we had three pretty good chances (Soucek, Ings, Cornet) that could all have gone in...They didn't. It's a Cup game the the breaks went for Bristol City in this one PLUS they got a healthy dollop of luck from the ref who didn't punish some pretty wreckless tackling. Having said that the latter we should have expected & stood up to. We had plenty of players in that team who could have stood up for themselves physically but I'm assuming there is a major worry of getting more injuries now ahead of the PL games. The ref though was just amateur. There are some positives though, I'd be very happy to see Moyes use more of the likes of Marshall now vs Sheff Utd. That would be a relief instead of seeing Chubbyrahma floundering. Cornet I'm split on. Can't make my mind on whether his pass in the beginning to Ings was too far or if it was old legs Ings who just couldn't get there? At least Cornet has pace. Benrahma & Ings for me have just looked old this year. That brings me onto Coufal. I thought he looked good earlier in the season but maybe he needs a kick up the arse & have Johnson play now. Johnson's looked good recently & has earnt a go in the team by merit. Just pick the form players. JWP is a mystery. People were calling for him to be in the England team. Well tonight he proved he just can't grab a game like this by the scruff of the neck. Not a great night. I just feel the PL & Europa League is the priority anyway so with the injuries I feel they've threwn the domestic Cups now so a lot riding on the second part of the season for Moyes and his future."

"Going out of the FA Cup always leaves a bad taste as the competition is steeped in our history and most of us would die happy seeing us win the thing, as opposed to a third rate European trophy only just invented for shit sides to have a go, but in isolation it's not the end of the world going out of this as we have very little chance chance of winning it these days, certainly under Moyes anyway. However, the performances over two games against this SHIT, and they are shit, was an absolute disgrace. What is shows to me is how much of a false position we are in the league, how does a top 6 side play like that over two games, it doesn't stack up or make any sense, imagine a Villa, Spurs, Newcastle, Brighton etc playing like that over TWO games, it simply wouldn't happen, so why has it happened with us?? Once again felt sorry for our fans behind that goal on a freezing night watching a joke fucking side doing nothing with an absolute cսnt on the touchline looking like a bigger cսnt than usual with that fucking hat. What a cսnt. Still, ''we're 6th in the league, still in Europe''' give it a fucking rest, you insulting, arrogant cսnt."

"I could only watch the first half of the game because of a prior engagement, which I guess was fortunate, By the time I got to where I was going I had heard on the radio the Benrahma sending off. So the only surprise, when I saw the result, was that we only lost by one goal. I can't be bothered with a load of recrimination, the players, the manager, the officials. Yes, I am disappointed but like others have said it was on the cards. Tonight it is just as difficult to delude myself as I do most of the time that a bunch of modern professional footballers actually care as much as we do about the success of West Ham Utd"

"The physical side is part of the game and they were really good at it. Especially with no VAR tonight. We could have given it back, but didn’t. Apart from Benrahma, who got it all wrong. In his very brief appearance, Marshall looks more suited to stepping up than Mubama."

"1. We put out a team of stiffs who played like a team of stiffs. 2 We were kicked around the pitch for 90 minutes with the approval of the officials. 3. We have zero squad depth. 4. We were badly game managed by Moyes. But they were a very poor side too but just about deserved to go through, and did I mention? The ref was a cսnt."

"Not surprised with the result one bit,was well tempted by Bristol city to win 3/1 with the bookies but bottled out of that. Emerson and Fab the only players of any note. A truely shocking display."

"The worrying thing is that the game went pretty much exactly how most of us thought it would. I do get why people would question why a lot of us want Moyes to go, but they obviously don’t watch us week in week out. It should be enjoyable in the main. Those fringe players are all earning a fortune and should be ashamed of what they offer. Couldn’t handle the physical side of Bristol City."
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Shoutout to all those that went tonight. Nobody was surprised that was going to happen. Truth is we ain’t got the squad to compete on all them fronts. You have to pick your fights. Seems like Moyes and the club has done that tonight.? I’ll be more cheesed off if the board don’t invest now and make a go at it in the league and Europe. Get 6th or another European final. And tonight will be forgotten. Now is when Moyes earns a new contract.

"The Ref was shocking. As poor and all as we played, I still think, if we didn't let them wind us up and kept 11 on the pitch, we would have got back into it. But didn't deserve anything on the night. Not a leader out there on the pitch. JWP looks a bit of a nothing player with poorer options around him. Should have given Marshall more than 10 minutes."
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Helmut Shown 1:06 Wed Jan 17 Certainly lacking the passion of a Bonds, Hartson, Dicks or McAvennie but with the rules the wawtgdw are these days they probably would have all been sent off! Certainly Jack leadership. Zouma isn't captain material and just doesn't look right. Dawson used to just bundle defenders out of the way and Zouma is just as big but is a kitten in comparison (no pun intended) haven't had a captain since Noble really, was never convinced by Rice as a leader voice wise although he did lead by example. Thought maybe JWP would be a better bet but he isn't at the top of his game at the moment but who can be with Soucek lumbering around beside you. Knew we would balls this up after Moyes defeatist interview pre match."

"A brilliant, battling rearguard by the shoestring minnows The Hammers, against the mighty big spending Bristol City, that ultimately ended 8n an unlucky defeat. At least we can console ourselves with the fact we battled to a fantastic draw in the first leg."
Re: ‚ö? Bristol City v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Why it took Moyes 30 minutes after the red card before moving Cornet to the left is baffling. He and Benrahma should been alternating from minute one. Benrahma will also take some shifting now. Banned for 3 games for any prospective English buyer and looked fucking hopeless for the 50 mins he was on the pitch. Marshall right, Cornet left on Sunday"

I think some of our players require a spine transplant. Can you imagine Billy Bonds letting that little shit Pring away with what those two twat referees allowed him to get away with in both games. He'd have been at the side of the pitch rolling in agony. And that fucking centre half can you imagine what Hartson would have done to him.
