Mourinho
Re: Mourinho
"His MO is quite simple to see, get a 3 year contract, do really well in first year, get contract extended, then start playing the numpty, get sacked with huge payoff, move to new club and repeat."

Re: Mourinho
"Any Moyes fan should really want him, a better version of the same type of manager? Any Moyes Out fans should surely not want him as it will be the same style they hate, just playing favourites, not much chance for youth etc"

Re: Mourinho
"I wouldn’t want Mou as I don’t think he would be a good fit, he would fall out with Sullivan pretty quickly as well, would entertaining off the pitch but he would have us playing a different version of Moyesball However I reckon as an international manager he would do very well, take away that ability to spend and his record of winning trophies he could win England the Euros in my humble, if only they FA would get rid of waistcoat…… Not that the FA would ever appoint him under any circumstances, they don’t like anyone with a mind of their own not towing the line!"

Re: Mourinho
"Hes turning into a bit of a journeyman manager now, a few years ago he had the pick of clubs and to be fair has done and won it all, but although i think he will get another job easy enough it won't be the elite clubs, more mid tale and those needing a swift turn around and it will be rinse and repeat. Should just retire and become a pundit. Hope we dont touch him with a barge pole."

Re: Mourinho
If you don't like Moyes style of football. You certainly wouldn't like mourinhos . It would flush out the hypocrites mind . I'm Moyes out but he isn't the answer. Yesterday's man .
Re: Mourinho
I imagine he will take some time out and hide away in Portugal for a while . Probably speaking to Maddie’s parents right now .

Re: Mourinho
Russ of the BML 1:20 Tue Jan 16 Agree with that to be honest. At Man United though he is still the most successful manager since Fergie. Europa League: 2016–17 - League Cup: 2016–17 - Community Shield: 2016. But the football was dour. If you were talking Mourinho from first spell at Chelsea it's a no brainer but not the manager he is now.

Re: Mourinho
49% win ratio at Roma. The first time in his career it’s been under 50%. The idea Moyes could have achieved the same as him anywhere is absolutely absurd.

"I'm not saying that at all, I'm talking about the theory that players like Kane, Son, Ronaldo and Messi would be shit for us. Of course Mourinho is a better manager, it's not even a debate."

Re: Mourinho
It's not pure hatred or vitriol because I think Mourinho is the much better manager. It's just the truth.

"Nags - The best one on here is 'even if we had Ronaldo and Messi up top they would both be shit':-) I want Moyes replaced in the summer, but some of the pure hate and vitriol towards Moyes on here is just obscene and frankly laughable."
Re: Mourinho
Oh please. That's just silly. All them players are far better than Bowen who's had a more than decent scoring record under Moyes.

"""Even Moyes could get plenty of goals out of Son, Bale and Kane"" I refuse to believe you've actually seen us play if you think that, Nagel."
Re: Mourinho
"This thing about Spurs scoring 100+ goals in a season under Mourinho: like all stats you really need to look at the context. a) 40 of those goals came in just 7 cup matches vs the mighty Marine, Wycombe Wanderers, Maccabi Haifa, Wolfsberger and Ludogorets Razgrad. b) Even Moyes could get plenty of goals out of Son, Bale and Kane. Doubtful that Mourinho would be able to get that 70+ goals out of our best 3 forwards. c) In the 6 league games after he was sacked, Spurs improved their strike rate. They also scored more league goals the following season, mostly under another defensive manager in Conte."

Re: Mourinho
Even now we couldn't afford him or the budget he would demand He largely bought success at the clubs he managed and sulked when he couldn't get his own way so no thanks. I wouldn't be surprised to see him rock up at Newcastle though.
