Re: Ravel Morrison
"there was a story on here once about the players sitting through a presentation, after which they all got on the bus. ravel wasnt there so someone went looking for him and found him back in the building trying to pull the projector down off the ceiling."
Re: Ravel Morrison
"he must be a right nightmare , for a real talent worth millions to be found a home because of his behaviour.. what does he get up to so no club will touch him?? gotta be more than just late for training ?"

Re: Ravel Morrison
"24 years old, only started 51 league matches in his career tells it's own story The fact only 12 of those were in top flight football tells even more"
Re: Ravel Morrison
"he just needs to blow the dust away , hes not even 25 is he ? mind you , he's probably on the hippy crack at weekends"

Re: Ravel Morrison
"not worth a new thread so i resurrected this one... he's jkust joined Atlas in Mexico , what a waste of a quality player, his solo goal against tottenham was a classic moment . needs to sort his head out , his career will be over before he knows it"

"Alex V 6:33 Sat Jan 21 Ah ok, it was a gift from God. Can't argue with that sort of logic. You dickhead. Seriously. He has a natural talent. Probably played as a kid as often as he could, just like the other kids. He had something more and was picked up by a club and moulded into a professional, albeit a flawed one."

"No, it was an accident of genetics. No real work involved at all. As soon as it was required he was found wanting."

"It's an ability most aren't blessed with. I could train every waking hour and not be half the player Morrison is/could be. Some people are just better than others at things. Good coaching is the icing, but you need the cake to begin with."
Re: Ravel Morrison
"Alex V 4:22 Sat Jan 21 Re: Ravel Morrison >>> He has most likely worked incredibly hard as a kid to achieve that level of skill. A very obvious truth that clearly goes right over the head of most on here. Or it doesn't fit the agenda. Doesn't take a massive work ethic to be talented, but it takes it to play at the highest level. You're the one driving an agenda Alex."

Re: Ravel Morrison
"Really sad story to be honest. On his talent, he could walk into most teams in the world. Should be a case study in what not to do if you want a successful career as a footballer. One of the only good things about his career is it's probably saved him from being locked up or worse."
Re: Ravel Morrison
Could have been the best player in the world. Just doesnt seem to want to be a footballer

Re: Ravel Morrison
"Does playing lots of football as a kid, likely at the expense of school, count as hard work? I bet loads of people on this forum played just as much, but remained too shit to play professionally. His talent is natural, but with a lot of practice."
