Daily Quiz anyone?

Post easthammer »

"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

GeoffP If I wanted to impress you I could say that I got my first degree at Cambridge and it wouldn't be a lie. The full truth would be that it was awarded by the Open University and they hired out the Sports Hall ( Kelsey Kerridge?) overlooking Parker's Piece. I too am very fond of Cambridge as a city having visited for OU lectures and to visit my daughter on many occasions. She cried when she left Cambridge loved her time there.

"You are forgiven east, of course. Mine is at Murray Edwards College - that's not even a ""proper"" ancient Cambs College! Wouldn't tell her that, course! I mostly studied at the Pubversities of Cambridge after a lesser edukashun. And St Catharine's College was... on the way to the pub. It's on the way to everywhere really. Lovely city."

"Yesterday's round was a quiz at the Golf Club and as you discovered the questions barely touched upon the golf theme. Today's round is from a quiz I did for a Parish with three Churches, the questions are not overly religious but you should note that the three churches were St Catherine's St Andrew's St Mary's This will help with the answers CAM QUESTIONS 1.
