Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Debs, you may be correct we can put your answer to VAR. On further research, it appears that there may have been another. Despite my answer being cited in by BBC as true at the time. The other possibility goes back to 1913 and might be challenged as being a musician."

"Charlie I just looked it up and according to his wiki you are right about ""Bubbles"". I didn't know that well we played a just few games in the same Vets team, must have been in the early 1980s. Also, I thought by then his group was called the Rivermen, following on from the Castaways. But I may have that all wrong through the mists of time. I think he might have played at a couple of End of Season Dances for Upminster F C (maybe he just put a band together for the occasion) Remember him playing right-wing and having long hair. We were a reasonable Vets side reaching the semi-finals of The National Cup only to lose narrowly to Corinthian-Casuals who boasted a few Ex-England amateurs in their ranks ( or so we told ourselves)"

"easthammer 10:37 Mon May 17 That's funny, I grew up in Upminster, and we used to have a kick around over the park with Tony Rivers (went to school with his son). I'm pretty sure he arranged and played on the 1975 version of Bubbles we still use on matchday."
