Daily Quiz anyone?

Post easthammer »

"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Back from holidays now with a 7! Let me know when (if) you want me to do another one and give you a break. I took the laptop with me but the wife forgot to pack the adaptor (euro-uk), so I let my eldest daughter buy a pack at the airport and she bought US-uk instead, so I watched most of the palace game and then had no working laptop for ten days"

I remember the RWC and we had gone to London for a night out and was watching the Final early morning on TV. My mate had to get back though so we were listening to extra time on the car radio. When Jonny scored the drop goal the noise on the radio was so loud we couldn't tell if he had scored or missed. It was only when we say loads of motorists in their cars waving their arms in the air weknew it had gone over. How there wasn't a pile up on the M23 I'll never know!

One of my earliest memories that. 4 years old and remember my mum pointing out where my dad was on tv. I remember going to the parade next day very clearly.

Where does the time go. Not as shocking as 41 years since Sir Trevor won a major trophy for West Ham!

9/10 didn't get moody blues. Can't believe that England triumph was 18 years ago this November.

Mad Dog 10:09 Mon Aug 30 If anyone got Norman's name and missed out the General bit it's still a point. In fact I was only going for KNOWLEDGE originally and went for Norman as the (N) question but when General flashed up on Google I changed tack and made it Question 1.
