Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Cheers all. I've decided a good/and fair quiz would be one that has at least one question with a specialist subject of the quizzers. I reckon with 8 regular'ish quizzers two questions each (14 in all) would be a good way to end a week. So if you are all happy with that send me your ""specialist subjects"", you can either put it on here or who mail me!"

Make mine 3 please. You would think I would be able to count such a low number correctly.

"Zico, didn't know swan vest had changed tbh. I'm so glad my courting days are over, I wouldn't be able to pretend to light a vesta on my stubble (while just using my fingernail) to impress a Doris anymore. Although I did it once and singed my eyebrow."

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
A paltry 2. Guessed the link after reading the answer Apollo as I already had Diana but can safely (and sadly) say knowing it beforehand would not have increased my score.
Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"Good point that Rio so I've just googled and from 2020 it says ""Swan Vestas, the best known brand, confirmed its 'strike anywhere' range was being discontinued. The products are being replaced by safety matches, which can only be struck on the strip attached to the packet."" Learn a new thing every day!!"

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"I got 7 and the link but got swan VESTA wrong which threw me as I didn't think it was a safety match because you could light it by striking it against any abrasive surface or even on your fingernails or teeth, as opposed to Bryant & May which could only be struck on the chemical strip on the box."
