Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"
Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
Spy Who Loved Me is probably my favourite. Loved the Connery films but slightly prefer Moore's tongue in cheek approach. The parachute at the start at Norwich Odeon back in 1977 got a rare cheer from a British audience! Little did they know that with the ski hitting the parachute the stunt man nearly had a disaster!
Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you'd have asked that question in a few months I might have has it. Been watching l the old bond films on itv (spy who loved me, moonraker etc) and reading up on them. (Love a bit of film trivia.... as you might know). Whenever I watch a film I immediately get on the Web and read up on it and love a trivia YouTube video. But alas, not got round to goldfinger yet."
Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"Mad Dog, you really should see In The Heat of the Night, it's a classic, both Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger were superb in it"
Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"46 MD as I didn't know it was Rob Reiners mother. Surprised you didn't know the Gert Frobe trivia. Must say I heard it recently but you can't see the join as they say in the film. Been very well done, unlike The Water Margin and Monkey when the dubbing is half a second after the lip movement! Was going to put in ""If you build it he will come"" but couldn't find 100% confirmation who said it."

"Didnt get the grouchy marx one , the Sidney poitier film or the mae west film. I also didn't technically get estelle reiner, however I knew it was Rob reiner's mother, but didn't know her first name. So it's either 45 or 46. Up to you on the estelle reiner point To be fair I didn't actually know that get frobe has been dubbed. Somehow that fact has eluded me."

"Just Six. Another one from George Best. I spent 95% of everything I earned on women and booze, and the rest I just wasted."
