Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Just a bit of TOTP Trivia. All episodes that included Savile obviusly and DLT are no longer shown. Nor the last Mike Smith, although that was because he never signed a release form to allow his shows to be future aired apparently. Got me wondering if bands ended up suing the BBC because no royalties if you were on one of those shows certainly with the first two. Anyway - These might be too easy with the clues! People - Anagrams with a clue 1. GENUINE CLASS – Smart actor who likes a drink 2. MOAN LYRICS - Nobody does it better 3. OLD WEST ACTION - This one is pretty self-explanatory 4. "14 thanks. Zico, I do the quiz everyday or so but only ever post every other week. Thanks to you, MD and everyone else who go out of their way to post these quizzes up daily. Cheers"
Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
East - Yep that's one I checked and double checked and triple checked! Never too old to learn indeed. Hence why despite a fall in quizers I continue to do these. Some may do them and not post their scores so as long as you guys/gals are happy to keep doing them I'm happy to continue as I have probably learnt more in the last few years than I did in the previous 50! Will run out of ideas soon though I suspect!

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
"14 for me thanks Zico. The Capsian Sea one which I got right ( albeit for the wrong reason) got me doing some reading into the definition of a lake. The Caspian Sea fits the basic criteria of a body of water surrounded by land, and it is a tectonic lake but there are at least 11 classifications of types of lake. I thought the largest lake to be Lake Baikal but that turned out to be the largest freshwater lake and then only by volume. Never too old to learn eh?"
