Daily Quiz anyone?
"If you are stuck at home and bored like me. How about exercising the old grey cells? I have for a number of years run quiz nights and couple of times a year. I was due to do one tomorrow which is now cancelled So I have a bank of questions sitting in my computer's hard drive. They are quite eclectic in their nature. I am thinking I could put up a set of questions for which you write down your answers. After 30mins or so I will put up the answers. DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS. before I post the right answers. You mark your own answers and post your score. I will then record the scores and at the end of the ""lockdown"" we will see who is WHO's brainbox supreme. Obiviously no looking up the answers (you only cheat yourselves) Word of warning these won't be easy questions as they have been devised for teams of six. Forming teams on here might be too problematic. So I'll try to pick out the easier questions. Any interest?"

"Zeb. funny you say that as nun wasn't a big film fan but she took my 10 year old self and my 8 year old sister to see Grease, although not sure how as as I'm sure it was an A certificate and sure that was 14 and above unless I'm mistaken unless it was okay with an adult. Can also remember dad coming home with this massive video recorder and can remember Alien was one of the films but can't remember the other. Can also remember when dad was looking after me and my friends when we were early teens. He was needed in an emergency but couldn't take us all so he popped to the video shop rented out Emmanuele 4 and we safely didn't leave the front room until he returned. Class parenting!! DVD was the big thing for me though as being deaf the subtitles were a revelation."

"zico 10:27 Tue Nov 21 That is great and I had a similar path to loving civema thank to my Mum. She wasn't a great fan but there wasn't all that much to do with two sports mad sons in South East London on a wet day in the 70s so she took us to films we might like. I am sure she enjoyed some of them but a double bill of Thunderball and Live and let die probably wasn't top of her wish list. The only concession I can remember was Grease. She had worked as orthoptist in LA for a couple of years in the late 50s and, apparently, it captured the time perfectly."

Some cracking scores as well gents. I was really lucky as a kid's as my late dad used to let me watch these sort of films with him hence my love of film today. Watched Serpico again the other day ale they just don't make films like that anymore.
