[BETA TEST] Test Posting Thread

If you want to test out the new posting/formatting features the site offers, add them here.

Things to try:

• Text Formatting
• Quoting
• Links to Youtube video (these will be auto added from the URL on post save)
• Links to X/Twitter Posts (these will be auto added from the URL on post save) 
• Posting Images
• Reply Notifications
• Post 'Likes'
• Reply Icons
• Reply Editing

Let us know if anything doesn't work or if there is feedback.

Can't work out how to post a photograph that is on my desktop. If I drag and drop it is massive and then says it is too big to post. If I click on the 'image' button I only get the option to post from a url.

Perhaps I should just leave it for a bit. Walk before I run.

We're still working out what we can do in terms of actual image storage (instead of just links to images posted elsewhere) as it has storage and cost implications.

​​​​I've set file size to 2mb in the meantime...will need to drag and drop as you were but reduce the file size potentially (increased it 10 fold this morning, but it may have to drop back again after talking with Wils).

Give it another go now though, and if no joy use an Image Resizer (there'll be plenty of phone apps/websites for that.

So excuse my ignorance I’m not good with new stuff but obviously I’ve managed to get in . Once the old who disappears will you be able to find new who on google ? 

 

Yes you should be able to. Might take a little time, as Google will find it and index it, but yes.

Also once we're live properly, the old address (westhamonline.net) will just go to here, so should all be very familiar.

We need to bring over all the old threads first though (and fix the reset password thing that is causing people problems).

Wow this site is QUICK 

It even auto-saves comments if you then close the tab or crash out....

It doesnt let you paste photos in as I found when it froze...

But its absolutely amazing compared to what we had... great credit to you guys... Top work!

And you can edit your comments... removing all those typos!!!
