Rugby World Cup
Rugby World Cup
Not a massive fan of this sport. Seems everyone forgets the rules when on the pitch and give away stupid penalties. One thing thoug I'm pretty sure it was meant to be played in 30C temperatures. Those big guys will be collapsing in this heat.

Re: Rugby World Cup
The Tier 2 teams have been a waste of time. It's only really going to start with the Q/Fs and the Ireland v Scotland game which is a last 16 knock out game now. The Scots are due to beat us.

Good point that. Hadn't noticed he hadn't posted for some time. Presume there must be a couple on here that actually know him.

Re: Rugby World Cup
"The referees have completely lost their nerve, referring everything to the video ref. The TMO is now worse than VAR (it used to be quite good in rugby) and that Irish bird seems to think it's her job to disallow every try and get everyone playing for a lower tier side and England sent off. Forward passes are still absolutely fine though. The tournament is barely watchable. It's absolutely bent in favour of the big nations (except England)"

"Sweaties played well tonight against a very average Romanian side. Fiji very nearly undid all their good work against Australia last week but scraped a win against a resurgent Georgia, Set up nicely for the last round of matches with a fair bit of intrigue."

Re: Rugby World Cup
"Great game. England game was entertaining some good tries, some players played themselves in to the xv but will the manager play them. Keep the momentum with a faster ball. England won't beat either Ireland or SA kicking. A risk has to be taken. SA I feel a bit shocked at how good Ireland were plus the Irish had Great support which pissed them off. De Klerk looking very sour."
