Rugby World Cup
Rugby World Cup
Not a massive fan of this sport. Seems everyone forgets the rules when on the pitch and give away stupid penalties. One thing thoug I'm pretty sure it was meant to be played in 30C temperatures. Those big guys will be collapsing in this heat.

"Ben o Keefe 'any more pushing after the whistle' SA 9 starts another pushing battle, England marched back 10 m and a kickable penalty"

Any Old Iron 10:31 Sat Oct 21 Not from the Ritchie Benaud commentary school at all. Owen Farrell should keep shut more often too. ENgland are playing out of their skins too. Don't fuck it up.

An antipodean ref with an Irish name…..wonder which international team he spent his whole life hoping would lose.

"England got through to the semi finals as the only unbeaten team at the tournament and that was mainly thanks to the luck of the draw. Now it is the reckoning and to be frank I think that SA have just too much over us individually and collectively, right now for us to achieve a win, Looking forward to the match up nonetheless."

It’s quite a nice feeling knowing the pressure is off in some ways. England aren’t expected to win so its a pleasant surprise if they do and not a big deal if they don’t.

"I fancy our chances tonight. Of course I'd rather have Arundell as an option, but I like the bench and that ginger prop for them is a walking penalty. The youngster George Martin could be the key, it's a big step up against the legend Etzebeth but I have faith he'll play well"

"I expect Eng to make a right contest of tonight's semi. There was 14pts between the sides in Twickenham last yr but Farrell missed 2 pretty straightforward pens in 1st half. Also, Eng won a pen in their own 22 in 2nd half. That was reversed when an Eng player pushed over Faf de Klerk. This lead to a Curry sin-binning & SAF scoring 10pts in those 10mins. Problem with Eng is they constantly give up momentum & concede field position with their lack of discipline. Hopefully Eng can keep the penalty count down & put in a performance."
Re: Rugby World Cup
Looking forward to tonight’s game we’ve done ourselves proud few thought we’d make the semis. It’s very unlikely we’ll take the battering the argies did but can’t see anything other than a South African which will set the final up to be an absolute thriller next weekend.

It was always a long shot just like England winning tomorrow. NZ are hitting their stride at the right time. The Argies have done great reaching the semi finals though.

I hope England win their semi-final & of the teams that are left I would prefer them to win.

Farrell is England’s biggest ever points.scorer and his decisions got us through on Sunday. Why would you do anything but appreciate that? Re England’s playing style. WEST HAM
