Never heard of these dogs before this week but the combination of them and the sort of idiots that own them is deadly Part of the solution is that when you have an incident like where the poor 52yo bloke is killed that when the dog is destroyed the owner should be put to sleep at the same time.

Dogs are sufficiently complex mentally to need proper socialisation. And some of them (all of them apart from the freak dwarf breeds) are sufficiently powerful that the failure of this socialisation is a fucking disaster. I'm pissed off that my plan to get a dog when I retire is slightly under threat from the proliferation of people who think a dog is a accessory that makes them look hard

A lot of these type of dogs are used to guard certain properties and rarely see the light of day. There is no control whatsoever over dog ownership / breeding in this country with puppies being brought over in the backs of vans from Romania and advertised for sale online being one example. Unjabbed unneutered Parvo disease increasing and rescue centres full of dogs that people got during lockdown and now have no time for.

I'm sure you may find certain XL Bullys that have been treated like a normal pet dog and well trained and are ok..ish. But they all look terrifying and i wouldn't own one if i had little kids in the house too. Its the cunts that cut the dogs ears up that are the problem owners.. have all that type removed / destroyed and ban all their owners from future dog ownership.

It was said on the news that one of the dogs in the attack was killed during the restraint. Somebody must have been very brave.

I want a dog but don’t have one because it seems very expensive to be a responsible owner and also a lot of time and effort to really care for them which I honestly can’t give. Which is why I scratch my head at how many scummers have dogs.
