"I really don't see the point in getting wound up by this loss. We're a shithouse, poor football team in the Premier League. We can get results that we don't deserve, like against Brighton & Chelsea with the keeper having worldies, and the point against Newcastle, but if you play the way we do, long term you will get what you deserve in this league. The bit that sticks in the craw is that it's cost nearly half a billion quid to serve this up. Fucking madness."

Bit harsh on Areola for the first. Looked like he had it covered before the deflection. Overall though a pretty wank performance allround.

But got to shove that lump soucek in there. The shame of moving brazils number 10 out wide to accommodate for him is appalling. And he was still better than that donkey cսnt Antonio today."

"We’re so reliant on corners. Of our 16 league goals, a massive 2 have come from set plays (and a penalty). https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/Tournaments/2/Seasons/9618/Stages/22076/TeamStatistics/England-Premier-League-2023-2024 We were crap today."

An at the races manager would realise that when Antonio plays for Jamaica he comes back to the training ground 50% of his capacity so why ffs does he not see that it affects the whole team you could see in the first fifteen he wasn't going to be productive today

"I struggle to think of many worse individual performances than Antonio’s today. His first half in particular was so bad, looked like he had forgotten how to kick a football. Not signing a centre forward in the summer is a massive mistake."

"Watkins interview wasn't a surprise, he now has a manager that doesn't want him working the channels, just hang around in and around the area and hey presto the goals come. Paqueta looked up a few times for a ball over the top and Antonio was on the left wing and the distribution from there was poor to say the least. Can Kudus play up top?"

"One thing Moyes cannot defend is his lack of courage bringing in new faces Kudus went into the position that Moyes uses to ruin a players career ;-). Wide left !!! Fornals, Benrahma, Paqueta and Kudus share one thing in common… none of them are wide left players or at least didn’t make their name playing in that position. The one we do have is Cornet but he like Downes last season and some others has not been given many minutes to get up to speed in the Premiership. They may not be up to it but you need a few games or minutes in your correct position (Downes also got played out of position when he did appear in the league ). So while players were poor, questions have still to be raised about the manager in the league campaigns"

First time I've seen two professional footballers having a chat at every West Ham corner. Paqueta and Douglas Luiz what was so interesting? Pretty shit performance all over the park. As for the substitutions Moyes will never get that right he's one of the worst managers at making subs. Fed up to the back teeth of the dinosaur ?ü¶ï

"Btw, if Paq thinks he’s going Man City next year doing shit like that he’s having a laugh. Pep would have him killed on the pitch for that bollocks. Top players do not give the ball away like he does here. I doubt he does that shit playing for Brazil either. It’s a piss take. You have to know when to show boat and when not to. It’s basic shit. We really need to bounce back at Everton. Otherwise this is going to be a tough season."

"Fabianski saves the first goal for me For all the hype about Kudos, I haven't seen an attacking player not want to play forward so much, for a long time. Great assist for Watkins though. I fucking hate John McGinn. What a shit performance. Embarrassing sub for Fornals."

A poor performance all round. Can't say that anyone had a good game. Moyes has got work to do on both motivation and tactics but who on here has any confidence that he's got what it takes to improve things. We can wave goodbye to European football for next season. Barring an absolute miracle we ain't winning the Europa and we look like we're heading for a lower mid-table finish again.

"Moyes spectacularly failed to pick the right side again today - all the signs were there and he ignored them. He's a stubborn dinosaur and I absolutely don't blame any player who doesn't give 100% on the pitch for him - by the time he stops thinking about his ego, all the players' good work has gone to waste. Anyway, I think a tricky European fixture in the week and the Everton game without Emerson (cards) will only confirm just how bad he is at his job. I hope I'm wrong but right now I'm in shock at how bad Moyes is at getting the potential out of this squad."

Claret on my shirt What fucking game we’re you watching? Coufal has been good of late but he was terrible today. And blaming the GK is ridiculous.

Poor performance and both the players and the manager need to take responsibility. The manager is too slow to change things and is not proactive enough when things are starting to slip away while his over reliance on Antonio is again going to cost us. As for the players I’m going to have to agree with Eerie in that Aguerd is a liability at times. Far too many mistakes from him. For all the praise that Paqueta gets on here (Much of it deserved) he is also very sloppy and loses possession too much. The best players don’t do that regardless of who they play for. Alvarez tried hard but still looks like he is getting used to English Football. I said a couple of weeks back that there are 7 other teams in the Premiership with better players than us and us and Villa were probably in that next category. After today and seeing the players Villa have I have to say we are behind them. Realistically top ten is about our level at the moment. When we win we deserve praise and when we lose particularly when it’s badly like today then criticism is deserved. Let’s hope we can get back on track with the 2 home games coming up.

"Late in the game I saw kudus hold the ball up, run round into a scoring position and get a shot off in the area. That is something Soucek could never do. Why would you not want to start someone on the pitch who could do that? I’m baffled. The paradox of football is that your front players are really your first line of defence. If they are causing problems the team cannot commit defenders and play a high line. So you don’t need to play tacklers and players that break up play further up the pitch. You need to play creative players that keep their defense on edge. Moyes will never understand it. If you want to remain mid table, have that defensive mindset. If you want Europe and beyond you have to play creative football. You can’t be in the top 6 without creativity. The focus should be on scoring goals not trying desperately to not concede. Kudus has to start."

Poor with and without the ball. If we’re not sat back defending we get picked apart very easily. Watkins showed the difference having a proper centre forward makes. Zouma looked crippled again. Chasing the game we have no clue how to break teams down. We’re so reliant on corners.
