"None of our promising young strikers were on the bench so when chasing a game all we can bring on is soucek, Ings and Benrahma. Moyes is out of ideas and alienating the next generation on his way down"

Tactical Dinosaur 0-1 Tactical Dinosaur As grim as it gets. 3 of the biggest white flag shit shows in the space of a week you will ever likely see. And get ready for another 8 months of this because he’s going nowhere

"No hiding place for Moyes on that game. He got it wrong from start to finish - unless, of course he had a monkey or two on Everton..."

"We had a lot of the ball but Everton defended well and were difficult to break through. A classic Dyche masterclass, lovely taken goal by their forward. Frustrating that the only player who had shots at goal was Alvarez. Paqueta was frustrating and deserved that booking. Again I cannot understand why he didn't give Mubama a chance assuming he was on the bench. Bowen was full of running but he can't do it all on his own, Kudus looks decent and clearly has ability."

*in my element and I’ve now changed my mine. Moyes is entirely to blame for awful tactics and man management. I don’t care that he won’t a trophy - anyone on here could have won that.

For the amount of money that's been spent on that squad . Merely being happy to stay up is an absolute fucking disgrace. There's still 28 games left and we have plenty of decent players . But Moyes is coaching them down to his level . And has been for 2 years now . Sullivan for once in you're life do the right thing for the club players and supporters. Dump Moyes .
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Everton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"If you're potless and just looking to stay up then Moyes might be your man. If you recently spent 500 million on talent you expect better than what we saw today. It has to be 3 seasons now that we've been saying it has to be Antonio's last We now need to spend another small fortune with a new manager to recruit talented players that can play a more pressing style, starting with a striker"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Everton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"As a Moyes out fan I should apparently be in my event after that utter shitshow. In fact, I’m completely the opposite. A contemptuous performance lacking pace, aggression, thinking and completely devoid of passion. I blame the players and Moyes for that, but Moyes must take a good portion of it - there is no way the players we have are that shit. Having Paqueta as the furthest advanced after Antonio went off was monumentally poor management. Why not put Bowen there and switch Kudus to the right and have Paqueta in the middle. It’s easy from the armchair, but some of his tactical decisions are incredibly bizarre."

"The players are not to blame, football has moved on a long way for that old tripe. The manager is 100% to blame for this fucking mess. Had it with Villa & Spurs recently, shit cսnt boring managers in charge making quality players look shit, both now got proper managers and you're seeing the difference. Some of you clowns were calling for him to be getting a new contract a few weeks ago, you know nothing pillocks."

Having rice playing would have made no difference at all. It resembles many of the performances from last season when he was playing.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Everton - Official Match Thread - Preview
thats the first game this season where we missed rice

"We will lose to Arsenal and Brentford ( esp without Paqueta and Alvarez at Brentford ) That will make it 5’losses in a row. Usually takes 8 for Sullivan to do something but unfortunately Moyes will probably survive. Suck it up to summer when our only hope Steidten can get his way, and change the manager and get some technical quality and pace in to play the modern game not some attrition football from the Charles Hughes playbook"

I blame the players as much as Moyes. I could play as shit as that and get paid a fortune.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Everton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Opinions as always but Alvarez is not a dud and if anyone was it was JWP. We don’t play a fast pressing game and don’t have all the players needed for it. Pace and technical quality in several areas is missing Alvarez was one of our better players and Paqueta made some chances. Kudus is a decent player so don’t write him it but we don’t move it fast enough, don’t have quality wing backs to stretch teams and don’t have or play a recognized forward so breaking down a team that is physically strong and very well organized is made very difficult. When ur bringing in the likes of Soucek and Inge who are even slower than those already out there it’s no surprise we can’t win any game we go behind in. Write this season off and wait / hope that Steidten has plans to replace the manager and get in one who can get the best from the better players and get some pace in that team. Zouma looks like he’s 90’years old, Cresswell and Antonio are finished at the top level after being good servants and Soucek, Coufal are never good enough technically Far too many weaknesses of which the manager is the biggest. No malice towards him, Moyes had done a decent job as an interim and taken a forward a tad but he’s yesterdays man in every sense and especially tactically Roll on to 40 points asap , and a summer of change but until then we have to have the strength to accept what we can’t change ( I think that’s the famous serenity prayer :-) )"

Absolutely appalling performance. I had a feeling failing to sign a striker (again) and replacing Scamacca would come back to bite us. Relying on an aging converted winger up top is pathetic. At one point after Antonio went off he was playing Paqueta up front. What the actual fuck?

"Was like a loveless marriage today. We turned up cause we thought we had to, but there was no enjoyment at all. Like we sat there resigned from the first minute that it was going to be dull. Anyone that thinks Said Benrhama is a footballer, needs to follow a different sport."

Moyes won't be sacked anytime soon . If he kept his job last season before we had a trophy in the cabinet he aint going this season.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Everton - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Heading back to where we were last season except this time not a hope in hell of winning the Europa Cup! Does sullivan give a damn about the fans, no way should moyes stay now. Given close to £500m to spend and we still don't have a striker and worse still his tactics (if he has any) are pathetic. Get him out!!"

"Yorkammer 5:35 Sun Oct 29 The lack of understanding from weapons like you make it easy to understand why our fanbase has stood in silence and accepted the crimes against football committed by this manager. The jammy wins whilst playing shithouse cսnt football pulled the wool over many eyes, but not those of us that know our football. When you play like that in the majority of games, how can you expect the team to suddenly play proper football when it's needed, like today? There is no longevity in playing most games without the football. If you don't understand that, you're a fucking imbecile."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Everton - Official Match Thread - Preview
Id say that where we are now and the way we're playing is probably consistent with what most of us expected before the season started after the recruitment and the dreadful pre-season

"That was complete rat's cocks. Full marks to the manager & chairman for ushering back in the traditional West Ham way. The next, next level."
