"hopper - Come on you know the rules, it's on the players when we do well, but on Moyes when not. ED said it's not Aguerd's fault as Moyes keeps picking him but he (ED) wanted Aguerd at left back today. Also gave an example of Spurs players not performing last season under a shit manager, yet Kane scored 30 league goals. Anyway, I'm turning in, tail between legs, lol. Toodle pip."

Moyes is our most successful manager i years. How can the players not take the blame?

"Eerie - What have I called? You can't slate individual players non stop and then say the players are blameless, laughable stuff. I've never known you to call anything right in all these years, to be fair son."

I know how painful it is but you only have to look at Tottenham to see the effect on 'poor' players of a positive manager giving players the freedom to PLAY.

"Manuel 6:14 Sun Oct 29 The manager bought him for £35mil, and continues to pick him. You've got to do a bit better than that, or more likely run off with your tail between your legs son, given how badly you've called all this."

"They are way below where they should be because of the tactics and set up. Our league form has been atrocious for too long. Start of this season was better, but we’ve quickly reverted to the usual standard. They are good players playing for a truly awful manager. Was fine in the late 90s / early 2000s, but not nowadays when the game is based more on quick movement at skill. I note it was another game where we knocked it long from kick off and immediately lost possession."

"Dyche actually plays Moyesball better than Moyes because he now has Calvert Lewin back hence a proper central forward and a midfield of Onana, Garner, Dacoure, Harrison and McNeil are quicker and stronger and physically speaking work harder even though they lack the technique of a Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen etc. Their CBs are better than ours as a pair in the physical dept and their young lad who plays alongside Tarkowski is quick too. So Dyche plays Moyesball with players better suited to Moyesball and we are still a mishmash with technically inept slow players like Coufal, Soucek, Today Cresswell and Antonio along with lighter weight technicians but collectively too slow Moyes doesn’t have a plan b. It’s reliant on the other team having the ball and sitting deep to counter fast and get round the back of them in spaces they leave. Everton don’t and trying to rely on bulldozer Antonio or Kudus and Bowen riunning at and against a brick wall of a defence and midfield was doomed. They snuffed us out mostly although took their chance and should have had another. Bowen had 3 chances that he fluffed and on a day where we had only 5 or 6 sights of goal it. It’s us. Moyes needs to go but it will still need investment to change the identity of this team as Coufal, Soucek, Antonio, Ings and even Zouma and / or Aguerd should not be starting imo Trouble is to get that dosh will require selling Paqueta who I think wants out anyway but can’t let Moyes spend it as he will get Maguire in with the money. A striker, at least 1 wing back, another central midfielder with pace and strength and even another CB and start looking at giving some youngsters a few minutes. Next summer the earliest anything will happen and have to hope Sullivan listens to Steidten assuming Steidten sees what we do"

"The last three games have been really poor and the manager and players are all responsible. Moyes is being his usual dull self but a lot of the squad are way below the level they should be. Ultimately, like last season’s league campaign, it’s just incredibly boring and unenjoyable."

Goose. This is what I pointed out earlier. The quandary is getting the best out of both Paqueta and Kudus when they both arguably want to play in the number ten position. Did they buy Kudus because they thought Paqueta was off to Man City? As bright as Kudus was early on he was running into bodies so for me Moyes could have swapped them over at half time leaving Kudus to purely run at the full back and maybe pull crosses back to the penalty spot with his left foot. That's my annoyance with Moyes he just changes players not shape bar that bizarre striker less experiment towards the end. Teams know our wide men will cut inside onto their better foot so why not swap wide men from time to time pulling crosses back. That might benefit a Soucek running from deep? Also last 10 minutes the player who saw the most of the ball including shot opportunities was Alvarez. Now JWP was poor but no worse than anyone else so why not leave him on?? He is a better passes and finisher than Alvarez but Alvarez stays on as a deep lying play maker of sorts'. Bizarre management.

Sure everyone has said the same Really poor display. Felt a bit like a kids game. Chucking all your best players on and hoping they can work it out. The shape at the start was wrong. Kudus and Paqueta wrong way around. Suspect Moyes to go defensive next week. At end we had everyone up front and nobody to pass to them. I have noticed he had pushed JWP deeper in last few games which has slowed down our play. JWP better getting forward leaving just Alvarez to hold. Concerns with Aguerd and Zouma as a partnership. We also missed Emerson who gets forward. Cresswell didn’t get over half way. I would also like to see mubama given a run in Wednesday.

"Lots on here wanted Soucek dropped and Kudos to start. Didn't make alot of difference did it? Doesn't seem to matter on personnel, when you are being told to be so negative and defensive. Mubama not even on the bench today. Ings to the rescue ffs."

Mubama not even on the bench Though I suppose if he is never going to use him then there isnt a point. I'd have Mubama & Marshall on the bench. Marshall at 18 against u21's had another hat-trick v Boro on Friday night and is scoring every week & in the full N Ireland squad. Take a chance ! Has to be a better prospect than Ings Understand he is under contract only til June 30 so someone with ambition might inspire him more.

"Extremely poor. Now that teams have worked out our 10 men behind the ball the players don't who do. Look at Cresswell,Clueless and never got pass the half way line because his lack of pace. He nearly got caught trying to pull a player back on a couple of occasions. Same really for Coufal nothing to offer. Kudus was lively but ended up going down dead ends,no movement from Paqueta or Antonio. Bowen tried but not his game today. It's beyond time for new blood and that includes the manager."

"I just wish he would play Marshall or Mubama. They score goals for fun so why not give them a go, I’d rather have had one of those 2 up front than Antonio or Ings. I love Moyes but he is so stubborn!"

"Not much to add on the below comments about today. We’re just so clueless with the ball, and then so easy to play against when we don’t have it. There was an instant where Onana came short to get it off Pickford and was allowed to run to the halfway line with any pressure at all. Pointless spending £42m on a player who plays in the same position as Paqueta or Bowen - and then relying on Antonio every week. This season smells like Pelligrini second season."

"Stevietgehammer:We didn’t have a soft spot in front of our centre backs like we do now no wonder we’ve conceded the most amount of shots in the league this season, don’t matter who’s in there out of Alvarez ,jwp or Soucek they can’t get close enough to the opposition .Alvarez has been booked 5 times which suggests he’s struggling in there."
