"Fraser, I really couldn’t give a shit. You just appear to be telling everyone how great you are and I was just pointing out that we all make mistakes and misjudgements and it’s all about opinions I know you did and I accepted it and admitted it, and said you were guilty of it too. You didn't hold your hands up on it and followed up with two rants about it including the above ""I don't give a shit"" If you don't give a shit why keep on about it after I admitred I was wrong, you scored your point, move on son."
Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Moyes didn’t buy Haller, you’re right. But he still wasn’t ultimately good enough for us to displace Antonio on a regular basis."
Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Manuel - You're missing the point I wasn't crowing about being right I was objecting to being called irrational and Moyes fundamentalist hater because it was obvious to me by someone who was saying the same only three games later but still insists there was no basis for me saying that even though it's unfortunately happened.. I would have loved to have been wrong . But it will keep happening, he may win a couple of games.. But it won't ever last."

You’re the one on here today pulling people up on stuff, I just added that you get things wrong too, as do I. This place is just all about point scoring and ‘I told you so’s’ these days. It’s proper dull and boring."

"Not a fan or football person anywhere would suggest that having around 25% possession in a game and to keep winning every week is sustainable, so if you choose to state the obvious, just to suit your agenda, and then crow about being ''right'' well it's a bit fucking daft. It was always a moot point anyway as possession stats are always going to change based on oppo and venue, etc."

Forward seeing genius wtf.. When we've been in shit league form for nearly 2 years... and we then get some results while still not playing very well you'd have to be a fucking simpleton to think it would last..
Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"I probably said that Moyes was right not to sign just anyone just for the sake of it (common sense) and it worked out with three seasons in Europe on the spin, including a trophy, and Antonio playing a huge part in that. Ironically Bowen scored the winning goal in the final, but he wouldn’t have been there if you’d been in charge. Moyes actually bought two strikers to play ahead of Antonio - in Haller and Scamacca - and, like it or not, neither were consistently good enough to start for us ahead of Antonio. Great points though."

"I feel like the issue is the players like Moyes. I mean what manager is going to still play Ings for the last 15 minutes when he hasn't score a goal in like 25 games and is on 110 bags a week? Thats a great job to have. Thats a great work place to be in. Even if you play shit you get to keep the shirt every week. They love the guy. Thats probably the biggest problem here. So despite the terrible coaching and bad tactics, lack of youth etc.. They will dig him out of a whole by beating the shit teams and the odd top team if they're lucky. And as long as they do that they keep their jobs and their team places with this guy and his massive ego. As a manager of a group of people he is obviously very good and experienced. As a coach, no, he's pretty bad for modern standards. I think you need both in modern football, but I think the football comes first. You can get someone to coach the football side but he's got such an ego he doesnt want to listen to anyone (Warburton said as much and why he left, and they were mates!). Even with our Euro win, let's face it. We played shit teams the whole way through and probably faced a team that would be mid table in our league in the final. The same thing happened in the Europa the season before. Shit teams and then the minute we faced a good side we got done. Lyon were the only other team of note we faced and they had a really off day for them. Moyes is mid. Over 2yrs of fixtures says so. We cant renew his contract. It would be mental."

fraser Stop trying to make out you were a forward seeing Genius because you’re not. Moyes was getting good results up to 5 or 6 weeks ago. The nonsense about it being unsustainable was only your excuses for a supposedly ‘shit’ manager winning games. I have always wanted a better manager than Moyes. My position is rightly that when Moyesball works it shouldn’t be WH fans calling for the sack for the most successful and achieving manager in memory. It’s got nothing to do with what’s happening now as I forecast that Moyes would most likely fuck up his chance of getting his contract renewed.

"Yeah I was before he was scoring regularly and was making wrong decisions, I was wrong what's your point. For balance Pagey said Moyes was right not to buy a striker to be first choice ahead of Antonio, how did that work out SON :-)"

Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Oh and it has everything to do with it being unsustainable, if you think that you can keep winning games with less possession and shots on goal than the opposition.. That's why I had no optimism.. Because it is fucking unsustainable.. Like you said yesterday.. We can't expect to keep scoring from so few chances.. Especially when you allow the opposition so many. As I said fuck all with being a football genius, you'd have to be as thick as shit not to see it."

"Manuel - it wasn't just me was it.. That's what I'm saying.. I was buzzing after the Chelsea win, I also said I didn't enjoy the game.. I was getting called a fundamentalist Moyes hater because I could see past the results.. Said it wouldn't last.. It didn't.. I'm still getting called it because of it. Why don't you wind your neck in and stick to your own advice, as you're always quick to tell others don't police the forum and Willtell doesn't need you tag teaming with him.. Always the first to cry when others do it to you eh son, even though you love a pile on yourself, not to mention a bit of policing the forum.. :-)"

"fraser - For fucks sake son, wind it in a bit with this I'm a football genius and I saw what was coming bollocks, it's tiresome and basically cuntish be behaviour. Who exactly said it was sustainable having low possession and to keep winning games, of course it's not sustainable, so again who said it was?? Surely it was simply a case of some optimism moving forward off the back of some good results in games we were expected to win, in the hope we'd have a good season, that is perfectly normal for a football fan to behave that way. You said you were buzzing when you left after the Chelsea win, correct or not? So I assume you were you not leaving the ground muttering to yourself, or anyone else in earshot, that it isn't sustainable? Again, of course it wasn't, and since then we have had more possession in games, correct? And as we know it also depends a lot on who the oppo are, we had a a high % of possession against Everton and lost. You ain't some football genius, mate, it's boring now with your I told you so posts. Yes, we have been shit in the last month, and yes most of that is down to Moyes, but it's not been anything to do with being ''unsustainable''"
Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"I think I'm quite justified in saying what I said. Sure the fundamental Moyes haters were saying it was unsustainable but you would wouldn't you? First Willtell you were arguing with me not the other way around I criticised Moyes you started sticking up for him.. I said it was unsustainable, you said he was doing a great job because of results, I said they were a false dawn. So because I and others said it was unsustainable and have been proven right.. Your conclusion is that we only said it because we're fundamentalist Moyes haters, nothing to do with it being bleeding obvious. So to sum up you was justified even though you were wrong we weren't even though we were right..."

"fraser ""No there wasn't, you just read it wrong, or weren't paying attention to how we were playing and how the games went.2 --------------------------------- Rubbish. If I said black you'd argue it was white. Can I remind you that we beat Chelsea and Brighton 3-1 each. Luton 2-1. TSC 3-1 and Sheffield Utd 2-0. OK we lost to City and Liverpool 3-1 each but most teams do. Then we are one of a few teams that almost beat Newcastle but finished 2-2. I think I'm quite justified in saying what I said. Sure the fundamental Moyes haters were saying it was unsustainable but you would wouldn't you? Fact is we were on a roll and I said it was up to Moyes to keep it going or lose his job this winter at contract renewal. Nothing has changed wanker..."

Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Willtell Last season's PL form could have been a blip and there were signs early doors that Moyes was getting results or running close to the top sides. No there wasn't, you just read it wrong, or weren't paying attention to how we were playing and how the games went.. Was always unsustainable.. As I and others said back then, you just thought you knew better and criticised us for saying so."

Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"We have won only 15 and lost over half (26) of our last 50 games in the Premier League under Moyes. We lost over half of our games last season (20 of 38). Compare this to his first 94 Premier League games since he returned to the club and we won 40 and lost 33. It is clear and abundant that the wheels have well and truly fallen off and this is not a temporary blip. But we all know we will get a result (probably a win) at home to Forest next Sunday and Moyes will be left to meander on. The season is turning into another write off, league wise."
Re: ‚ö? Brentford v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Did you know that Fabianski only made 32 appearances for Arsenal between 2007–2014. What a waste for a half decent keeper. We simply look like a team who are always going to concede goals. Absolutely no leaders at the back at all, in fact very few throughout the team, we look very quiet and typical West Ham easy to play against. The use of Ings is painful to watch. What is Moyes obsession with half these players? Mubama may not be the answer but you will lewarn far more sticking him on for 15 minutes than you will with Ings. Ings legs have gone, he reminds me of Kevin Nolan's last days when he just looked an old man out there."
