"I see Moyes gave Mubama his big chance last night. Did he play well, create much?"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Olympiakos - Official Match Thread
Did well to get the win and avoid any silly red cards or giving away penalties. That was probably the strangest referee performance I have seen at top level. Really odd decisions. Stopping the game every time a player hits the floor ; drop balls given back to the wrong team ; linesman on the far side not looking and guessing with throws. Tonight also showed why we have var. How on earth was Paqueta given offside. Looked miles on in live play.

"I think Benrahma is comfortably the worst winger in the Premier League. Actually, Cornet must be worse otherwise he'd be getting some game time wouldn't he? Well, wouldn't he?"

Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Olympiakos - Official Match Thread
"Travelling up from Bournemouth on a Thursday night is never something that gets me excited. Watching fucking Moyesball really doesn’t help matters either. But, this time the players have to take some responsibility. If you’re going to be playing at least do some fucking running. Benni is a joke; I wouldn’t even play the bloke in the stiffs. Paq has real quality but needs to just stop the flicks as the rest of the team simply aren’t good enough to be on the end of them. Kudus needs to look the fuck where he’s going and learn when to release the ball (he has real potential though). Credit to Coufal and Bowen who I thought both played well. Moyes; fucking fall on your sword and fuck off. PLEASE"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Olympiakos - Official Match Thread
"Manuel - I feel your pain, I did 13 years of middle of the night kick offs, granted it wasn't Moyesball. I've always liked Benrahma, Moyes has broken him, looks scared to lose the ball, though he was the only one to force two decent saves from their keeper, every one must have missed those :-) Strangely Moyes gives Paqueta a pass on trying adventurous stuff that doesn't come off. I think we tried to play more through the middle yesterday but we were absolutely shit at it. Can't wait till he's gone tick tock"
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Olympiakos - Official Match Thread
"Surely no one, not one person, can be ok with seeing Benrhama in our shirt again. He's so poor it's unreal. It's like playing with ten men. Can't shoot, can't pass, bottles every challenge and can't beat a man. Perfect. The ref looked like a geography teacher, and reffed like one. Some bizarre decisions. At least Ings didn't come on I guess."

"You lot are moaning, but old muggings here got up at 3am to watch this shit, would you have done that? Could have just got up and watched the lowlights with a cup of tea (without knowing the score) I said before that these are the games that Moyes wins, but was good to win it as we need European football to look forward to after Christmas, even if we have next to zero chance of winning this. Some shocking individual performances, Benrahama is just a joke now, Paq man still keeps giving it away, but he took his goal well, as for Kudus a lot of ability of course but he needs to know when to put his head up and play the pass, as all the great players do. This board has always slated Traore for not having an end product, and while I know Kudus has notched a few he does remind me a little of Traore, head down just making it up as he goes along often running into blind alleys, seems a bit of an angry individual too. Moyes or not, we're just not very fucking good imo, and it's hard to be confident for Sunday. Wil be interesting."

"Well I enjoyed it but then I always seem to enjoy these European games on Thursday nights under the lights than our prem games. Not our best performance but we still won against a big strong side who play in Europe every season, the ref seemed to favour them again, maybe it's something to do with their dodgy owner who also owns forest who we play on Sunday, apparently he's under investigation for heroin smuggling so bunging a ref would be small beer! https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/mar/23/nottingham-forest-owner-evangelos-marinakis-accused-drug-trafficking"

"God, that was an awful watch. I thought for a while that we were playing that 'walking football' for the over 60s. And if i'd got a £ for every time we passed backwards, I'd be giving Elon Musk some competition on the rich list. Paq has some amazing skills but he's also a bit of a dick the way he goes down like he's been hit with a grenade."

"Nice goal, nice win - they really didn’t like it when we went ahead. Let’s hope it is a turn in form. Need to give Moyes credit for 3 wins out of 4 in Europe as we slate him for league performances and results."

Forest will have watched that and be ecstatic. We'll be knackered and we won't keep the ball. We will have some corners though. Ings will come on in the 70th minute

"Ugly but ground out the result. I'll put tonight more on the players. Just sloppy again all round. Bad choices and misplaced passes time and again. You could tell the players were anxious. They set out to frustrate and it almost worked. Most frustrating was going defensive after scoring and letting them become a threat after they hadn't been all night long. The goal looked miles offside on the TV but what a well timed run. Just need a draw against Freiburg now assuming a win against the Serbs. You just have to get through the groups, even if it's ugly. Lots of quality in this competition this year though. Will be tough to have a run unless we sharpen up. Guarantee we draw Liverpool at the earliest possible opportunity should we get that far."

"I was one of the 27,000 who watched us beat Olympiakos 4-0 in the ECWC 58 years ago. On balance I preferred that game to the turgid shite Moyes spewed out tonight."

Awful game and awful performance but big win I have no idea what they do in training all week they must literally just practice corners Bowen ran himself into the ground thought paqueta was terrible as was Benni Back four were decent We are so slow the game plan just seems keep it tight and hope one of our flair players comes up with a bit of magic or we score from a set piece. Not sure you need to pay a fella 3 mill a year to come up with that plan.

Benrahma? He has no end product. Cuts in cuts out but that’s it.
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Olympiakos - Official Match Thread
"Important win but a very underwhelming performance. Benrahma is so poor, i would be glad to see him never play for us again. It just all looks very stale at the moment."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Olympiakos - Official Match Thread
"In effect we have three right wingers, but they have all played across the front three. I would give Kudus a go on the left, Benrahma is like playing with 10. Bowen right Antonio centre. Give Callum Marshall a go on 70 mins. Brighton done it with Evan Ferguson 18."
