"I‚Äôm hoping Bowen can exploit their high line tonight,if he can bend and time his runs in behind the centre backs, I can see him scoring a goal similar to the one against Fiorentina,we also need to wind that hot head cսnt Romero up"

"cholo, it's on Amazon Prime, and they have the Everton v Geordies game on at 7:30, so I guess the idea is to get people to watch some of both."
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Unfortunately see us sitting deep which plays right into their hands. Away fans need to ease the pain a bit and remind them how long it's been since they won anything. Be loud and proud anyone who is going

"It should be a regulation home win for them based on our respective recent performances, but I’ve often said that about this fixture and been forced to humble pie so…….idk"

"It's not going to be a great watch this evening regardless of the result. We all know we will be watching a match in which Tottenham dominate possession, territory and chances while playing attacking, passing, free flowing football. Meanwhile we will be in ultra 'low block' hoof mode and hoping to nick a goal from a rare counter attack or set piece. I'm half minded to just sack it off, TBH."

"I'm pretty sure I know what's going through mpyes head right now. ""I've played 80 odd games at top 6 away. I've never won. Tonihht's the night... they won't be expecting me to do exactly what I do all the fucking time. That'll throw them"" We are going to lose tonight. Moyes will sit back and as a result sp*rs and son in particular will tear us a new one."

"""Their last game was 3-3 away to Man City, there is not a set of circumstances in any dimension that we would get that sort of result against Man City away under this current manager."" This is very true. I wasn't trying to diminish the task ahead, Just making a point that there are enough glimmers of hope that it may be worth watching. Although all hope will be duly snuffed out shortly after kick off if we see our Brazilian standing out wide to the left again."

"Wils, I don't want to be a spokesman for them cunts, but mitigating circumstances and it's only 2 results you can look at as bad, and that's with half their team out, the Chelsea game I take my hat off to them. Their last game was 3-3 away to Man City, there is not a set of circumstances in any dimension that we would get that sort of result against Man City away under this current manager."

"""They are playing swashbuckling football with pretty much the same players as last season who the manager inherited,"" Maybe at the start of the season. But a lot of players injured and they have been in decline for a few weeks now. They haven't won since October."

"I have never been less enthused for a game against these cunts. They are playing swashbuckling football with pretty much the same players as last season who the manager inherited, still at it with more than half their team injured, under a manager who is unbelievably positive and does nothing but talk the club and the fans up. We play boring shithouse cսnt football with a squad which the manager has decided spending nearly half a billion in the process, with hardly any injuries all season, under a manager who is unbelievably negative and does nothing but talk the club and the fans down."

"Manuel 11:23 Thu Dec 7 That's hilarious. I make him right though, The media can be 'tricky' cunts at times. Only problem for Woy is he was younger then. Now when he gets spiky he just comes across as one of those dementia victims that attack their friends and family for no reason."

Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Only good thing about this game is that I have such low expectations of us that if we managed to win I’d be buzzing! Maybe that’s the benefit of supporting West Ham. No win against ANY team is routine for us. A win is a happy surprise really…
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Willtell 12:32 Thu Dec 7 Yeah, Moyes' record was almost exactly the same, although given that Moyes immediately had Fabianski back after months out injured, and that prior to his injury we were doing very well - in 5th place and with Haller scoring 4 in his first 7 games - it's not hard to imagine that we'd have done better that season if Pellegrini hadn't been sacked. In fact, if it wasn't for the enforced COVID break helping us out then Moyes would likely have relegated us. All this has fuck all to do with the Spurs game though..."
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
I'm sure that you are right Nagel. I looked at Moyes record the other day when working out his win percentages. He didn't do any better than Pellegrini's averages yet we avoided relegation. Hard to say whether Pellegrini would have done any worse than Moyes' 5 wins and 5 draws in the last 18 games.
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"And just like Moyes, Woy never really saved Palace from relegation when he returned, despite what some people think. They were 12th when Vieira got sacked and finished 11th, after having an incredibly easy run-in against all of the worst teams, and getting pretty much the same results they'd had in the corresponding fixtures earlier in the season."
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Yes and listening to Moyes saying we never get much from Palace games so a draw was good tells you that Moyes knows he’s not as good a coach as Hodgeson…
