Makes the result all the sweeter after the terrible first half. After 20 minutes if someone said that we’d go on to win the game I’d have thought they needed their bumps read.

"I felt we were growing into the game as it got to half time. But what a second half performance that was, outstanding from everyone."
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Had to watch this on a shockingly glitchy internet feed in Cyprus. Including freezing up at the moment the ball came off the post just before the second goal. Unbelievable timing!

Just think how much more convincingly we’d have won with a real coach. Maybe 4-1 or 5-1

Huge amount of luck involved here. OK we won but in true Moyes fashion we backed into it playing his style of football that we know works once in awhile.

The day after my 60th birthday and the best present of all. Hats off to the Irons and I'll tip it to Moyes but he will have done his time come the end of the season. COYI. ‚öíÔ?è‚öíÔ?è‚öíÔ?è

"Probably stating the obvious, but to be one down with our backs against the wall on a freezing cold night and to then run out winners and inflict a painful defeat on those cunts, when they desperately needed a win, makes this one of the sweetest results I can remember for a very long time and it feels fucking terrific, as someone might say. Pleased for our support there freezing their cobs off, must have been brilliant. We are in a very good spot now, will take a point at a rejuvenated Fulham now to keep us a ticking over, would love a win though of course to get us right on the shirt tails of the aforementioned."

"Sydney - You come out with that old bollocks most weeks, don't you usually say ''I can feel it in my water''? Zero analysis, just you think we are due a win, if anything it's embarrassing. LOL."
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread
"Sydney, my dear. You ruined it by saying 'think'. And no score prediction. Where Nostradamus (I've just checked), said ""A team of Iron men will overcome a Greek led army, after an early setback, by two goals to one, in a game called Moyesball, on the 7th of the Christmas month, in the year 2023"". So let's stop the comparisons."

"I think i need the whole humble pie not just a slice. Did not see that coming at all. However, there seems to be a network problem at present as none of my spurs acquiantances seem to be able to answer their phones or access their text messages. How strange. Ahem, COYI"

"Bloody Hell, I didn't see that coming! after 10 minutes it looked like we could lose by an embarrasing scoreline but their goal seemed to give us the kick up the arse we needed. It reminded me of last years home game againt Arsenal when after going 2 down the players seemed to decide to drop the Moyes plan and go on the attack and surprise surprise looked a much better team, equalised and went on to win! We were holding on a bit towards the end and to be fair to Moyes he does know how to drill a defense. Great result and COYFI's"

Daveyg’s best comment was complaining that we didn’t make any subs until the 88th minute when it was the 11 players he kept on that put us ahead and gave us 3 points!
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"What a great second half. Makes a nice change from conceding after half time. Bowen had a great second half and I think we might have a 20 goal a season striker if he can get a decent run centrally - though was also good to see him and Kudus switch around at times - giving the defenders something to think about. Emerson class, Paqueta a completely different player second half. Defence solid. Great win"

"“Not read back on here but guarantee the usual moaning old cunts on here sounding off” Northern Sold, Surprisingly (Not) it’s really quiet on here considering we have just won away to Tottenham. Those posters you are referring to are nowhere to be seen. It tends to be a lot busier on here when we lose."
Re: ‚ö? Spurs v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Echoing others but a very strange game. That first half was just about as bad as we have been in memory, which in some ways makes it all the more frustrating when you see the difference going out in the 2nd half pressing higher makes. I of course understand the need to try and settle the game the sting out of their early exuberance but you have to offer something back rather than just clear it for them to try again. That said, they scored a completely avoidable set-piece goal, and other than that we limited them. Emerson was superb once again, and easily our best player outside of Bowen this season. Alvarez also excellent. By contrast, if I were one of them, I’d be equally frustrated at the lack of intelligence from their manager. Yeh its exciting but its so one dimensional the other way. In the Premier League, teams wise up very quickly when they know how you’re going to play."
