Divin Mubama

Post Stevethehammer »

"You have definitely got to feel sorry for the lad. He had a great pre season, looked like he had finally broken through and was going to be a solid option for Moyes and the potential to save the club millions on buying a striker. Moyes said he wanted him to stay and I have it on good authority that he was wanted by Gillingham on a season long loan as they were on the look out for a young striker who was able to be a big part of their team. Neil Harris at the time saw him as a good option and was more than happy to give him first team football. Divin wanted the move but Moyes vetoed it. Now he sits there on the bench not getting a sniff at any football, another one Moyes has wasted and no doubt he will get a chance in an upcoming game, probably not take his chance due to match fitness and then Moyes will look vindicated in not picking him, not picking up on the fact that he would need a few games to get up to speed, but once he does inhave no doubt that he is the natural replacement for Antonio and should be coming off the bench when we are chasing the game rather than Danny fucking Ings."

We need to start making our voices heard When Moyes brings on Ings it’s like we play with 10 men . At the same time Divin needs to make himself available get out there from the 20th minute and start warming up down the touchline. Make a statement that tells Moyes I’m keen and want to be on that pitch.

Splinters in his arse on the bench again while the pointless Ings comes on. When he gets 5 mins somewhere people will wonder why he looks rusty as he isnt playing at ANY level I see Callum Marshall after his hat-trick v Boro scored twice yesterday for the u21's in a 4-0 win away at Liverpool. Both should be ahead of Ings

"Browno, I'm putting out information from someone that is well connected to the lower leagues and would be involved in the dealings at Gillingham, so not entirely gospel truth but Moyes does have a track record of this especially here. Ashby also wanted assurances that he would play here, he didn't get those, he wanted to stay with the club there is no doubt about it but Newcastle came in and offered him a very good wage, but if Moyes had said he will play, he would have signed a new 5 year deal. Callum Marshall is another the youth coaches think the club should bring through but there is a quite a divide at the club at the moment because players see no real path to the first team."

Moyes is a nasty piece of work. Him stopping a loan move and then lying about him getting game time is no surprise. Hope the lad goes on to better things

"He has hardly played at any level your right Manuel, last season he was playing in the youths and doing well, now he has to sit on the bench not getting a look in. As I said Moyes didn't want to let him go after pre season and Divin looked for reassurances before the club turned down the approach from Gillingham. He got those, apparently it was suggested to him that he would be used in cup games, Europe and games that Antonio would be pencilled in for dependant on his travel back from Jamaica games. None of that has happened and he sits there seeing out his contract. The Ferguson point is bang on, and the likes of Rashford wouldn't have made it under Moyes at Man utd. Van Gaal gave him his break. Its strange behaviour from the manager who 'found' Rooney."

"Your first point is correct, rewind to the summer and everyone thought he was breaking through this season as he wasn't being loaned out and he seemed good enough to step up, although if we are being totally honest we cannot be sure of that as it is a huge step up, even if the goals are the same size. What is clear though is that Moyes looks at birth certificates before deciding if someone likes Mumaba plays or not, and that is fucking horseshit. Would Ferguson be doing what he is at Brighton if Moyes was manager there? No, of course he wouldn't. Many other examples too. As you say he's going backwards now, for the reasons outlined. I don't think he has hardly played at any level this season due to him being in the first team squad most weeks getting woodworm. Have to feel a bit for the lad."
