"I'm halfway through his autobiography at the moment. It is excellent, but surprisingly DARK in places. The only one of 4 siblings who was sent to boarding school cos his dad didn't like him for some reason, constantly beaten by noncy teachers, depression, suicide attempts etc etc. Some funny bits as well. One of the best autobiographies I've read. A very interesting, intelligent bloke who has now reached ""national treasure"" status. Talk to me about Adrian Edmondson."

"Loved Filthy, Rich and Catflap. Only a few episodes but ripped the piss out of the mainstream light entertainment industry and TV/ media of the time. Allegedly no funding for another series due to the likes of national treasures ( Tarby, Brucie etc ) being upset by it :-). Edwardo Catflapo the artiste selling his farts and burps to rich toffs who describe it as the ultimate art form was another great “sending up” but of the world of art and it pretentious high brow pomposity :-)"
