Apparently Emerson & Alvarez are/were struggling with flu the last few days.

"Why always go like for like? Cresswell is all but finished, so why play him? Why not play Aguerd there? Fornals looks shot. That said, Fornals is slightly more attacking than Alvarez and hopefully Paqueta more central."

"Thank you Mr Moyes for going in to another game without a striker, I love that. My only moan is having just one goalkeeper on the bench"
Re: ‚ö? Fulham v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview
I thought he would make some changes today. Is Alvarez injured? Surprised rested Emerson though

"Chill out everyone and keep the eternal flame of hope flickering in the hope we secure another 3 points. To do so with some flair would be the cherry on top - however unlikely. With the run of games ahead, I care little today about entertainment value. December is attritional for all clubs with the fixture pile up. Today, Moyes - you have a free pass in my book."

"Beats it for you watching on your stream, but I much preferred the Redknapp years with Do Canio tearing it up, or the Payet season. I literally couldn't wait to go to games, it was thrilling at times. Whereas this season I've sacked off going over there a couple of times, literally because I couldn't be bothered with the time and effort to be bored to fucking tears watching the best squad we've probably ever had, sitting back with 10 men behind the ball launching it for to Antonio. Glad you enjoy it though. No doubt it's an easier watch indoors with the heating."

"Considering we are the luckiest team in the league, shithousing our way to results and getting every rub of the green on offer, let's just hope that continues and our luck doesn't run out. We'll do our utmost to make it the shittest, dullest game of football the world has ever seen, as we set out to do every game, and pray that the gods shine on us like they have done most game this season, and hope that our crimes to football don't go punished. A scrappy, shit, barely watchable 1-2 away win, which although you're happy with, leaves you feeling like you've fleeced someone of their life savings on the back of a cold call. What a time to be alive."

"Tomshardware 2:19 Sun Dec 10 That's when you get Moyesed, just when you start allowing logic and optimism to kick in, ol Moyesie will shut that down by putting out some atrocious lineup that has no chance of winning against a fully beatable side. I'm expecting a bad team selection and disappointing result today."

"Imagine a bloke from East London who claims he’s a big West Ham fan but never goes to games and constantly uses excuses for not going. First it’s the stadium, then it’s the owners, now it’s the manager and after Moyes goes it will be another excuse for not going to watch the team he claims to love. Imagine the same bloke who doesn’t go to games calling other West Ham fans that aren’t from London and spend hundreds/thousands of pounds travelling to go and support their team “Tourists” Imagine the same bloke constantly lashing out and calling other posters names because they don’t despise a football manager as much as he does. Then waiting to get back up from someone who wants the manager to catch Aids and die. Imagine being asked if you were happy that we beat our biggest rivals on their own patch and after a period of silence simply say “I weren’t unhappy that we won” Keep them coming Mikey Boy."

"imagine a bloke from east london registering on a swindon town/bristol city forum and thinking he not only knows more than actual locals about the club, locals that started going as kids and long before the sky money arrived that's currently propping up this carbuncle of a manager, but also polices their behaviour on match day threads. it's psychotic behaviour, shows zero respect and no self awareness. I was going to the old den when this year was still having his backside wiped by his mother. it's why I have very little time for the tourist cunts that come on here"
