We are paying the price for Moyes very bad recruitment of players. The board brought Steidten in to correct that. Now we are paying the price for Moyes inability to work with a squad. Our reserve players aren't getting game time because Moyes can't cope with changes. Now we are also paying the price for Moyes inability to coach forwards. I'm sure he knows his low block system backwards but fuck all else. I watch other teams and their passing ability and ball retention is much than we ever show. Our players have no patterns except what the likes of Emerson and Paqueta obviously work out between themselves. I'm amazed that Moyes is still here after all the fuck ups he has cost the club. Apparently Moyes has spent around £450m which compares to Fulham's which can't be more than loose change in comparison. The difference being they have a forward thinking coach...

"I've seen comments on Facebook like Careful what you wish for We're WestHam we need to manage expectations It's not Moyes fault if all the players are under performing Then there's cunts on here saying we're wanking over it, happy that we lost. Yeah cause it's such an easy mistake to make that those of us that are fuming about it are really happy as we're pissed off and moaning because what we really want is for our team to embarrass us... But we're just ungrateful cunts because we played well 2 years ago."

"Agree Manuel, Moyes clearly doesn’t trust the squad, the same squad that he’s spent so much time and money assembling. He blames fixture congestion and a bug for the absolute thrashing whereas Steve Cooper said after their defeat against Fulham it was his fault, Moyes has no self awareness and absolute zero man management skills. Honestly if he goes and the new/stand in manager just said “fresh start boys, play for your places” I believe it would be like signing 11 new players. He’s a cancer, he’s sucked the life out of every member of the team and every one (bar the deluded ) of the support. But he’s Sullivans shit deflector."

"I think we've played worse in several games this season, and the opposition team have often played better as well. Yet somehow 5-0 wasn't really an unfair scoreline, which probably shows how lucky we've been with results so far."

"With all these games coming up I see trouble ahead, reason being Moyes clearly doesn't trust his back up/squad players. After Cresswell and Fornals dire showings yesterday he won't want to pick them again, Dinos and Oggie look dodgy, he doesn't want to play the likes of Cornet, Johnson, Mubama, Tiro, even Benny has faded away. So what is going to happen now is he will continue to flog his first eleven to death and we will witness more results like yesterday, or he will have to reluctantly use his back up players who he doesn't rate, which will again result in more results like yesterday. So either way, it's not looking good."

"What annoys me the most is we are three nil down at half time and his idea is to go more defensive. He said ""Even at half-time, I said 'we’re not going to concede any more goals, if we’re going to lose we’re not going to lose by any more'."" lose any more!!!!!..... Joke. At least show the away support some fight, nope he doubles down on defense so we only concede 3 ???"

"In all honesty, yes. Respect. For winning a trophy and for given us THREE consecutive seasons in Europe. I can’t stand Moyes by the way, but I do respect what he has done for us. It hasn’t all been shit and dull. Some of the Europa League games were incredible. So yeah, respect. You’re right though, he is getting paid to do his job. Most professional managers get paid to do their job. Plus, in this day and age, most teams are spending a fortune. We’re all different though, so I’ll respect everyone’s opinion."

"We got to tie recruitment into a philosophy or way of playing through all teams U-8s, 21s included. That is part of being able to bring youth thru as they just carry on playing the ash they always have. There’s a place for a low block system but not every game. We need pace and movement and better players at RWB, a box to box midfielder with pace and technique , someone else who can play CDM when Alvarez is out or needs a rest ( Downes or someone else) a wide left player ( cornet has had less than 100 minutes thus season and no starts unless there was one in Europe). He may not be up to it but the little we’ve seen he can control it and pass it better than Benny, Soucek and a couple of others and he has a bit of pace. It’s both mystifying and bizarre he’s not given a look in. This seasons Downes and not part of Moyes favs at all. We need a central striker above all else. Potts u21s don’t seem to play anything like the first team so there’s no continuity. And Steidten recruitment needs to tie to the way we want to play. Did we buy Kudus and Alvarez, used to Ajax pass and move, to play a low block countering system? Steidten remains the key. Does he see the longer term problem with Moyes or us he like Sullivan unwilling to risk going with a different approach, manager to really try and progress? He’s not had Sullivan’s experience with Pellegrini so hopefully less about getting the proverbial “safe pair of hands” next summer we find out hopefully. Steidten is waging his time with data driven recruitment if Moyes is at the helm. May as well go back to Sullys favoured agents"

KD That was exactly my thoughts. It's like he's put Mubama on to state he's not that good. Half time may have been better but not much.

"threesixty Moyes is the most negative manager I've seen. You're comments are truw expect we have only played 4 games more than Fulham, a mighty 4. Fulham started the Caraboa Cup a round earlier than us . Spurs lost in the 2nd rd. Thus 6 games. It's not that many really 4. Not anywhere the 10 mentioned a Moyes myth. He puts this out all the time."

"I kind off feel Moyes today did what BFS used to do. After 4 down, he goes to a back 5, takes off Kudus and subs in Mubama. I mean, poor fucking kid. Was that a proud moment to Moyes, to show us all that Mubama isn't the answer? Well fuck me, what a cսnt of a manager does that. But captain Soucek stays on, it's madness."

"pagey, he's been giving more money and decent players to use than any manager in our history. the more money sullivan spends, the more negative he gets. he's cost the club millions (anderson, haller, scamacca, vlasic, etc) with numerous players that he couldn't or refused to utilise due to personal reasons or his own limitations. he's doing the same again this season, selecting players out of position. it's joyless football, so you respect him all you want. for me, he can't fuck off fast enough"

"Miike, you’ve just gone all or nothing with your comment. No mention of the high league finishes, the three consecutive seasons in Europe or our first trophy in 43 years, which was a fucking incredible feeling. You can’t just ignore that. I want Moyes gone, but he deserves respect for what he has done. Don’t forget how fucking shit we’ve been for a very long time. At least we’re shit with a trophy right now."

spot on? next one in to a third of the league games this year without selecting a striker. there isn't another manager in the league that does it. we let in 53 goals last year while losing twenty games. we've already conceded 30 after 16 games (two a fucking game). how can you be competitive when you have to score three a game with a cսnt obsessed with a low block/ten men behind the ball method of playing?
