"threesixty 7:33 Thu Nov 23 You can argue about poulation density but although Swedens covid mortality was higher than some other comparable nations, Sweden's overall excess deaths rate was a lot less than any other European nation, all of which had lockdowns."

"You could, in theory, live for 20 years and have an amazing life. Or live to 100 and have one with no particular highlights. Its not your death that matters its the quality of your life."

"FFS. BRANDED 6:04 Thu Nov 23 ""You die when you die. There is never an otherwise."" It's statements like this that make me want to bash the cunts head with a pair of porcupines instead of cymbals.....face first."

"""Sweden isn’t a travel hub. "" Neither is the UK. London's Heathrow may be so classed, but if it is used as such then people doing so rarely leave it's confines if ""hubbing"" and generally stay airside and away from the general UK population. As airport hubs go, Arlanda is a fairly substantial hub for those flying from or to other Scandinavian countries, so, if being a ""travel hub"" is a significant contributory factor, you'd expect to see Covid spikes around any airport that provides flight interchange services. I don't recall any such spikes being highlighted, either during or post-Covid.."

"Re: So, we're not going to even talk about the OUTRAGIOUS covid inquiry Then?"
"Ken Sweden isn’t a travel hub. Swedish people are pretty orderly and follow rules more. I think they had social distancing advice but it wasn’t legally mandated as a lock down. In fact apparently 80% of swedes adjusted their behaviour and practised social distancing (working from home and avoiding crowds etc). Swedish people also tend to live alone more or have less people to a household as opposed to say Italy, where people live with their parents into their 30s in some cases. So the whole Swedish didn’t lock down thing is a bit of a fallacy. Also, what people never point out is that Norway that did lock down had a lower death rate than Sweden. It’s very hard to compare Sweden to the Uk. You kind of have to compare it to at least other Scandinavian / Nordic countries. So I think there are lots of sociological reasons for the different death rates in Europe. That’s why I question the European average figure you gave earlier. It sort of doesn’t make any sense."

"Capitol Man 5:51 Thu Nov 23 Are you that desperate to have your arse served back to you on a plate again? As Branded said, you die when you die; the duration of the living part of the process is totally random, only the end is certain; you can go to Geneva and initiate an earlier departure if you so wish, but you have no say in when nature pulls your plug, even if you hit the gym 7 days a week and cycle to and from work wearing an oxygen mask to avoid breathing in fumes & particulates. Would you claim someone who succumbs to the flu did so just because they didn't follow orders and take that particular year's jab? What if the flu vaccine they took triggered a process of events that killed them? Would you claim it was all their fault for following orders? I get it. You can't handle the unknowns inherent in probabilities. You need to know, to control, everything. It's obvious in the style and content of your posts. The stress of trying to attain the impossible obviously puts you under a pressure that will lead to your death 20 years earlier than would otherwise have happened. It's The Science, innit?"

"“If you catch covid and it kills you 20-years earlier than would otherwise” You die when you die. There is never an otherwise. No one knows what tomorrow brings its just a bet or a probability. Obviously if you want to stay in doors on your own, go ahead."

"Mike Oxsaw 4:55 Thu Nov 23 Re: So, we're not going to even talk about the OUTRAGIOUS covid inquiry Then? Millions have existing conditions. You have a heart issue don’t you. Many conditions are manageable. If you catch covid and it kills you 20-years earlier than would otherwise have happened should that death be classed as having been caused by Covid or the pre existing condition?"

"On The Ball 4:38 Thu Nov 23 I'm not disputing the intentions of lockdown measures. I'm disputing their effectiveness based on actual studies. In the first two years of Covid, Sweden (who didn't lockdown) had a 4% increase in deaths, in comparison to the UK's 10%, and America's 19%. ."

I can only recall one western leader requiring the suspension of all flights to & from China at the start of the Pandemic. See if you can remember who that was.

Lee You’ve just confirmed my argument as why weren’t they needed and they didn’t have the qualified staff as they had already returned to the Easter Europe . So could the NHS cope or not ? As we have seen now with many mates who have had Covid recently . It’s like bad flu . Stay at home in bed and take paracetamol

"https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/deaths/articles/deathsregisteredduetocovid19/2020 Section 3 of that report states ...This release includes data on the number of deaths and mortality rates for deaths due to and involving COVID-19 in 2020.""... Section 8 states: ...""Our definition of coronavirus (COVID-19) (regardless of whether it was the underlying cause or mentioned elsewhere on the death certificate) includes some cases where the certifying doctor suspected the death involved COVID-19 but was not certain"" The core data is already cloudy. So, how many deaths due solely to Covid (i.e., no underlying or contributory pre-existing conditions)?"

"Swiss. 4:49 Thu Nov 23 Do you mean the nightingale hospitals that were barely used, and most of the people who I know who worked/danced to tiktok videos in the London one are now sacking off the vaccinations? But the NHS was falling apart...."

"Ken I dunno man. It feels like let’s not try to treat your stage 3 cancer because you’re probably going to die vibes. I don’t think a civilized country operates like that. Not to mention how so many working class people who have to mix with people (bus drivers, nurses etc) would be disproportionately effected vs richer people. People love all that survival of the fittest bollocks don’t they? But cry about mental health cos they’re not allowed to go to the pub! Whatever floats your boat i suppose lol"
"Re: So, we're not going to even talk about the outrageous covid inquiry Then?"
On The Ball 4:38 Thu Nov 23 No because statically those who let’s say were borderline were just as well staying at home. Also they did look to improvise and create temp Covid hospitals but guess what ? They couldn’t get the staff and I’ll buy a pint for the person who guess why that was ?

"Jaan Kenbrovin 3:45 Thu Nov 23 Very. Because lockdowns were as much as bout keeping people out of hospital, and therefore keeping the NHS from collapsing, as they were keeping people alive. Surely you know this?"
"Re: So, we're not going to even talk about the outrageous covid inquiry Then?"
It’s been proven by comments by Hancock et that Boris and his cabinet were clueless. Still they had time to party. Stats have also shown the divide between the rich and poor increased even more. I’m sure a lot of Boris’s inner circle profited. Anyone voting for these cunts is a mug (unless on a 7 figure salary)

That sounds like total bollocks = I only want to see STATS and FACTS that back up my point of view
