The next Prime Minister of The Netherlands

Post Come On You Irons »

"Is going to be hardline anti-immigrant, anti-Islamist Gert Wilders. Nice to see other European countries waking up to the existential threat to Europe caused by mass, uncontrolled immigration from the third world. This on a day the UK has released statistics showing a record 745,000 net migration in 2023, which is a shameful and damning statistic."

Why haven’t the Taliban taken over your village yet and imposed strict sharia law?

Debs will soon change her tune when the Muslims go after Gregg's as they're offended by sausage rolls.

"Darlo Debs 3:03 Tue Nov 28 You want to be a part of a union? Then don't work for an employer who doesn't allow a unionised workforce. Called freedom of choice, I believe, and YOUR freedom of choice is not superior to your employer's. What happens if a workforce demands (DEMANDS) a 10% pay rise and the owner crunches the numbers and decides that, under those terms, the business is no longer viable? Is the owner obliged to keep the business running, suffer ongoing losses and effectively become a charity? That's not why I started a business - non-unionised, by the way, but the whole company knew all the operating details. We all did well, pulled together and everybody did well out of it. I took on a chap who turned out to be a left-wing firebrand (but he had enormous potential for the area we were working in). The whole company basically told him to shut up or fuck off when he tried to organise a union and get ""better working conditions"". Surprised me, to be honest, as I was away in the States closing a decent deal at the time; came back and found myself recruiting for his post again."

"Are you drunk Mike? Serious question. You were using an example of responsibility in the work.place , I.was talking about unions in the industrial.sense. The right to.unionise is one we'd lose if pulled out of the ECHR."

"Darlo Debs 2:31 Tue Nov 28 Islam is a union. Christianity is a union. Judaism is a union. All brought into existence to ensure that their members got the best deal possible for the after-life. On the evidence of the practices of those three fairly substantial, enduring unions, I'm not sure I'd want my name associated with anything resembling a union. It was you that suddenly decided to bring ""unions"" into the argument at this late stage, not me."

"I see Darlo Abbot is talking nonsense again. Get out and vote for the anti Islam candidate, It’s time. My guess is Spain will be the next right wing Government, followed by France the ultimately the UK. Neither Labour or the Tories deserve your vote….You’ll get there in the end."

"Mike I would challenge it bit then one lone voice hasn't power hence the need for unions which would be a right we'd lose if those calling for us to be withdrawing from.the ECHR. Lee the punishment for being gay isnt the point, but as I.mentioned conversion therapy is still.legal.here and can and has included torture and starvation in the name if stopping gay people being gay. Was meant to be banned back.in 2018....they've had entry.if time to do.it and wouldn't get any opposition from.the other side of the house so.why hasn't it been done I wonder https://www-bbc-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/explainers-56496423.amp?amp_gsa=1&_js_v=a9&usqp=mq331AQIUAKwASCAAgM%3D#amp_tf=From%20%251%24s&aoh=17011734017680&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com"

"Darlo Debs 2:08 Tue Nov 28 So, if a new management structure is deployed at where and for whoever you work, and you know for a fact that the new way of working that they introduce would be detrimental to those in your care, would you challenge or ignore it in the full knowledge that you were then at risk of losing your livelihood/way of life, meekly follow it to protect you & your income, or resign and run away, hoping, in an uncertain world, that you can quickly seek gainful employment elsewhere that more aligns - for now - with your beliefs?"

Freedom to express yourself is the one you need to protect…..unfortunately most religions are there to prevent such things……due to following a rule book that was written to give a moral compass to what would have been savage times.

"Goose fundamentalist Christianity is oppressive too and takes what it wants from a book.written ages ago.to.ensure social.control, as are elements of Catholicism where men.get to.exercise control over a woman's right to determine the size of her family via archaic attitudes towards birth control. Unless you think any god would punish a woman for aborting her baby conceived through rape more than tbe man who.raped her, or would punish her for nit wanting children she doesn't want."

Darlo Debs 1:57 Tue Nov 28 You work in healthcare so that makes you 100% culpable and accountable. Sort your own house out and we'll have a decent NHS. As for the far right? They're here already. Bringing in a shitload of far-left policies or people won't improve matters or alter their beliefs. So why persist with such attempts at societal change?

Mike the healthcare thing is a nonsense....governments run healthcare systems. I haven't yet voted for one that has members who have publicly stated they want it privatised. Your argument against radicalised Muslims holds true for radicalised members of the far right.
