Re: Lingard released by Forest
"Think Moyes wants him but may actually have enough sense to forgo dying on this particular hill. If he doesn’t pass muster he’s not getting an offer. Not all that much of a big brainer really, is it."

Re: Lingard released by Forest
Moyes just now on him: “We’ve not considered a deal for Jesse at the moment. He’s training to get back fit and in decent condition and he’ll be here next week as well. “Players need four or five weeks in pre-season and he’s no different to anyone else.”

Re: Lingard released by Forest
"Just what is it with Moyes and his obsession with over the hill, past it Man Utd rejects. This infatuation with Lingard makes us look proper 2-bob. Moyes is utterly clueless and is on borrowed time"
Re: Lingard released by Forest
"""key addition"" is pushing it. At the very best a solid squad player IF the club decide to offer him a deal (which they shouldn't). If we are expecting anything more from him then that sums up the level of ambition at this club."

Re: Lingard released by Forest
"Steidten and Noble plus the coaching and medical team are retained to assess whether he is up to speed and can contribute, especially to the European campaign. Then he gets a proper contract on a proper wage - the club is not as two-bob as some of our more gormless followers. I say he has a point to prove and could be a key addition"

Re: Lingard released by Forest
"Ron Eff 1:04 Fri Aug 18 Re: Lingard released by Forest I was initially completely anti this. I’ve softened slightly, but only on the basis that its a contract absolutely on our terms until January effectively as a trial. Minimal basic wage, with incentives. Cancellable with a month pay off of that basic at any time. And then Moyes builds the side around him, we do well, he plays great, Moyes proves he is right again and then in January Lingard bind us off for a better offer in Saudi or similar and we left with unhappy players who lost their place to this sideshow div"

"Luton will give him a game if he starts acting up! £2k a week basic rising to say 10k if he plays! He fucked up massively going to Forest, and he knows it"

Re: Lingard released by Forest
Factory Seconds You're right but by that logic there is no point in discussing football on here... we'd just spend the whole time cunting off Moyes.

"anyone who says ""it's just a short term deal what harm can it do?"" has completely forgotten who our manager is and his determination to prove himself right even if it means flogging woefully out of form players week after week."

Re: Lingard released by Forest
If he's on a short term contract eg to December and on minimal pay then it makes sense.

"I'm not sure we'll be in much of a position to field many reserves in the Europa if we get any kind of tough group. It's going to be much more difficult than the 2 previous seasons we've had in Europe, I'd wager."

Re: Lingard released by Forest
"Taking a freebie punt on whether he‚Äôs a good enough replacement for Lanzini is a no brainer, bearing in mind the other positions where players are coming in. Bit of an obnoxious cսnt, but there you go, most of them are like that."
Re: Lingard released by Forest
"Oh, and that’s also on the assumption that it is not at the expense of other signings. He very much would play 2nd fiddle to the likes of Benrahma, Bowen, Paqueta (hopefully), Fornals, and ideally Kudus + other new significant signings."
Re: Lingard released by Forest
"The little shit is also 3 years older too, and considering he did nothing for us towards the end of the season, what's the point of him? I don't care how many cups he's won, or appearances for England, this is a dreadful signing. Only wages? He won't be on 5k a week, will he? Also, remember his little teasing videos last summer, with chicken shops, etc provifing the oh so fucking hilarious clues like fucking Ted Rogers on 321?"
Re: Lingard released by Forest

Minimal basic wage, with incentives. Cancellable with a month pay off of that basic at any time. If he has a better offer, and won’t agree to terms, good luck to him. Doesn’t look like he does though. We’ve had too small a squad for the last few seasons. No harm on a risk free shot to see if he has any desire or is able to offer any value for a few months."
Re: Lingard released by Forest
"Miike Your problem is only seeing things in black & white. I agree Lingard fucked us about but so what? That was yesterday's news. I'm not welcoming him either in case you didn't understand my words. I dislike him intensely. A bit like I do you. In an ideal world I'd like to see Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen, Lingard and others running at opponents. Trouble is Miike you'd have fuck all to moan about then..."
Re: Lingard released by Forest
“You just know the SOCIAL MEDIA crew will all over him dancing with Paqueta as well.” Probably the same fucking clowns that threw fake money at him at Forest last season.
