Talksport just discussing this and they confirmed that Joe Lewis put Spurs in a family trust years back so they are completely protected from any contagion from scenarios like this. Granted the potential for it to divert the focus and financial commitment of their main backer is a potential downside but apart from that there's no knock on effect to them........sadly.

I'm sure Spurs are not directly affected but having a billionaire owner tied up in financial legal battles can't be good for them. Might make them hurry up and sell Kane for some readies.
